Hiromi... your music saved me from depression.. Everyday as soon as i wake up i play Haze first...and then your other songs for the entire lockdown ...2 years, here in Manila Phiippines. Now i listen to this album everyday specially 11:49pm. One of the things in my bucketlist is to see you live.. to meet you in this lifetime. when you had your gig here..i can't afford the ticket. if ever you come back here in Manila, i will loan money. =) you are Godsend..thank you , thank you..mabuhay ka.

Hiromi is a step beyond human. Her ability to touch the heart with her music - sparked by such a sincere and humble personality - are an inspiration beyond words. Her presence on earth, at the piano, is a wonderful gift.

Funny to see how she is so composed when talking as opposed to how energetically and crazy she usually plays. Very excited for the new album :)

When she talks, it is probably the way she would be composing. When she plays, she is feeling the emotions she is expressing thru the music. She plays art but she is also a human work of art. She is as much fun to watch as to listen to her. Shalom

Lei gioca con la musica in maniera intrigante e sottilmente sussurrata nei temi e cosi esaltante per la sua capacità tecnica..ma di anima immensa. My admiration for you hasn't die ....forever

Good to know that lockdown meant only performing 80 times and writing for a quintet. - Her energy is inspirational. There's a lot of Western musicians who could take note. Glad to know she's still at the top of her game. - Nice-1!

Wonderful interview! I had tickets to see her in San Francisco, then the bottom dropped out. Then, miraculously we were able to see her in Tokyo many months later. She is a musical treasure… Thank you for sharing.

Ditto. I saw the NY Blue Note pay per view but would have watched all 80 of the others too
