There is a lot of fanmade comics. Nothing wierd if fans waiting for like 2 years for first episode but Vivienne said it would take a long time. There is a prequeal comic that shines light on Angel Dust's past. The guy in the glasses is named Valentino and he runs the porn industry in Hell and is Angel's boss. He is known to be very abusive and manipulative towards Angel hence the smoke forming handcuffs and a collar as he sees Angel as HIS pet. Also the pig is Angel's pet called Fat Nuggets. If i remember correctly he kept getting brought up during livestreams with the creator and cast so they decided to add him in

I liked Alistor. He had a mix of overwhelming sinister dark overlord and completely bored entertainment mogul. Angel Dust just felt like a token “bad boy” character prior to this MV being released. Edit: As a side note not sure if you noticed but Cherri was specifically targeting places that were owned by Valentino as payback for hurting her friend.

The hotel run by the princess of hell might be the only place where Angel feels safe from Valentino. While Vaggie gives us Alastor's introduction she mentions that Alastor's powers rival those of their world's "most ancient and destuctive evils". Among those depicted evils is Valentino in the bottom left corner (22:44 of the pilot for reference). As for the mystery puddle person... The twice we see him it's with tones of sadness in the imagery, and Cherri stepping on his face. I think that Cherri dragged him into her explosive thrill seeker lifestyle which ultimately resulted in his death. She regrets it and feels guilty, but she's addicted and can't quit despite her feelings over losing him.

I think when he says “maybe things wont be so terrible inside this hotel” its cause that is his only place where he is not being abused by val along with this home cause the way i see it val uses him as a se* toy and money and i think hes addicted to drugs so it distracts him from everything that val makes him do And then cherri tries to help him with all this by comforting him or when she says “come if you’re feeling brave” is that he will be brave to disobey val but hes also scared that val will kill him maybe? He was last scene in 2013, he's described as a "hunter", and uses a bat wrapped in barbed wire and bombs with spades on them. Didn't leave a comment to your hazbin reaction video but both that and this one are one of my favorite reaction videos that I've seen! I think many people, me included, get frustrated when the person reacting talks over the characters, doesn't really listen to what they're saying or seems to just miss all "important stuff" 😅 Especially with a show like this 'cause it's so fast-paced. I think you've done a great job paying attention AND commentating at the same time, it's really enjoyable to watch. Also I appreciate you giving your two cents at the end of the video. I think the reason why almost all the characters in Hazbin Hotel are likeable is because all of their problems, their all broken and suffering emotionally even if they hide it, Angel may put on a care free personality but his emotionally scared and suffering from all the abuse from Valentino and his only real friends is Cherie Bomb and his piggy Fat Nuggets and most likely over the show he will slowly start to appreciate the Hotel and how he will slowly start to see Charlie and the others as friends and family. It makes them feel human despite the way they look.

great reaction! :D I’m sorry, I don’t get what you like so much about Sir Pentius, he isn’t even a character xd He have cool design yes, and he is funny, but he doesn’t seems to have much depth, just a guffy villan 🤷‍♀️ I knew from the start, just from the pilot episode that Angel was this sort of character who pretends he doesn’t care about anything and anyone, just to get high and party hard, but inside he is sad and lonley and hurt, but he won’t let himself to get attached to people because he has probably been hurt in the past and probably he don’t believe he can get or even deserves any help. There is a short comic on Hasbin Hotel website, where Angel is geniuenly surprised of how nice Charlie is and surprised that someone want to help him at all. I knew and really hoped we would see the dark/sad/soft side of Angel in the series, but I did not expected to see it so soon already! Well, I’m really happy we did. His character has depth and dark past, dificult emotions, and he seems really lost. It’s a surprising he is in his 30s canonically, I think he seems younger (20s), perhaps because of how lost he is, and his surfice behaviour to cover it all up. I know he has good inside him, and he really deserves and really needs some help, and some friends. However Angel is my most favourite character I don’t want it to accidently become an ‚Angel Dust Show’.Yes, I want more of him and more HH in general, in any form - but I really like other characters too: Charlie and Vaggie and Alastor, and the whole Hotel plot. I just hope in future it won’t merge into single-person show, because Angel is everyones favoirite. 🤷‍♀️ But love him anyway ❤️

I love your run down of Angel Dust! Yeah he definitely has been a very engaging character and I am sure he will have a lot of progression as the show goes on. As for Sir Pentious.. It is hard to explain why I love him so much XD I don't know if you know Danganronpa? But it is kind of the same reason I love Taka the most in Danganronpa 1. I have this theory that Angel Dust and Cherri blew up one of Valentino's clubs before Angel was even his 'employee' and Val only caught Angel and mad him in his debt and that's why Angel was in his employment in the first place.

He's Angel's boss (and basically his sugar daddy) We don't know much about their relationship yet, but the comics and this video suggest that Angel hates him, but he can't get away from him for unknown reasons. He uses the hotel as an escape from the abuse. (Also for some reason my favorite is Husk)

The pig is Angel's pet, named Fat Nuggets. And he's the cutest little bean ever! Especially when he gave Angel a kiss at the end of the video. Val is a sleaze. I hate the way he abuses poor Angel. Angel deserves better than this dude. I feel that the reason Angel is so addicted to his drugs, is because he thinks he needs it to kill or numb the pain that Val causes Angel. Hazbin Hotel & Helluva boss are in my opinion, the perfect ideal adult cartoon. Like, there's lots of content in the series that is definitely more rated as mature. And I like how Viv isn't afraid to go wild with her series & make them bold. Even if some stuff might be crude or dark humored or suggestive. And yeah your right. There isn't much known about Cherrie except that she's Angels best friend. Charlie I think was just concerned for Angel when she saw him with his drugs. Cause she's trying to help him break the drug addiction. But because he's so addicted, he kinda just brushed her off. And probably cause he had a rough day with Val, & is using the drugs to try & forget the kind of day he had. Also, ANYTHING can be an addiction. It doesn't have to be a drug. Some people find themselves addicted to stuff like video games, soda, eating constantly, smoking, or drinking alcohol, you name it, anything can be an addiction.

Little fun fact, the guy cherri kept flashbackin to was one of vivzie older characters. Still fuzzy but at the time he was either an angel or a hunter against demons/angels. It could be that he has a different role now, but am glad to see the guy make a comeback. Am crossin my fingers for Fitch and a few others like Chainsaw and Adina to make a comeback too. Both were scary wicked angels. On a random note there is the theory that, if he Is an Angel then maybe Cherri bomb could be an angel as well, since her old design was an angel with attittude and daddy issues and more connected to Angel dust. However I think thats cause everyones got the idea that if you have an X for your eye, you count as an angel since the ones weve seen in the current Hazbin hotel have the Xs in their eyes.

The assumption to make about the male cyclops guy is that Cherri feel in love with him even though he was a bad guy and she ended up following him into hell after you see him the first time she sings “ yeah you fell in love but you feel deeper in this pit” and then when you see him again she sings “ we could have it all by the end of the night. Your money and power, my simple delight” it makes me think of her as a Harley Quinn type character where she simply fell for the wrong guy and made her bad choices that landed her in hell all because of her love for him
