I've refurnished or restored 'thrown-away' furniture and seeing pieces like the dressers makes me want to cry. it's beautiful, it's old and irreplaceable, and unless someone rescues it, doomed to be destroyed by vandals or neglect. I'll never understand the vandalism either.

the camera is amazing, so crisp and clear it picks up every detail. you must be so happy with it !!! this place was almost devoid of one thing you see in every abandoned home after sitting for years, cobwebs !!! usually they are hanging from floor ready to strangle someone if they get to close.this had a few but mostly in the window areas. even the spiders were afraid to inhabit the place !! vandalism to the enth degree here, such a tragedy to see people lives reduced to rubble and ruin. no respect and no brains. imagine what it looked like, it must have been stunning...

Back in the day, many women ran the houses finances and paid all the bills with many men simply knowing that they "keep" £XX amount in their account for their spending.
