There is absolutely NOTHING you are doing wrong. I find you to be one of the very best explorers out there in abandoned land. You are very respectful to your viewers and the property you explore. So, PA-LEASE DONOT beat yourself up. As for the viewers who are watching your videos and not subscribing that is ridiculous because it costs nothing but one second of their lives to smash the "like and subscribe buttons." Come on VIEWERS help Dave out so he can travel and get to these awesome places. And for crimsny sakes, watch the videos throughout while your at it. Become a fan and support Dave in his exploring endeavors.

I have such mixed feelings about these videos. I love looking at these properties. I have bought a couple of "abandoned" properties and restored them. On 3 occasions, I have found strangers in my houses unexpectedly and I will tell you it is scary as hell. They felt they had every right to explore because it was old and rundown. (I had just begun the long assessment and planning process.) Aside from the shock of turning a corner and finding a stranger, if that person got hurt falling through a floor or whatever, I might be liable for a lawsuit. Don't want to get permission for a tour? Ok, then pay your share of the mortgage.

There's some pictures and information of this house in its heyday online. The architect was Willliam McElwee and it was built in 1875. The pictures are external shots mainly, taken in around 2008, but you'll see what a beautiful house this really was, along with a descriptive write-up of its key architectural features. The out building with the steps has its roof in-tact in the pictures as well. The name on the cross will lead you there...... It's four in the morning. I discovered your channel at 10 o clock last night, and I can't stop watching your excellent videos.

My first time watching you, and I’ve seen these kinds of videos before. What keeps me watching is a good story while walking the house, telling the history while walking, having narration or music during times it’s just heavy breathing, better lighting, and maybe more mystery/curiosity questions you’re seeking answers to. If you tell the story up front, people will leave when their curiosity is gone, keep it going, always build up to saving the best for last. Video in a way that allows you to edit it in a way that we can’t tell which room you went in first or last, so you can save the best for last.

It's true what you said about families sometimes getting nasty over money and splitting up. I'm glad my parents had next to nothing. When they passed away there was nothing for me or my older twin sisters to fight over, so we're still close and care about each other. It's obvious the roof is failing and rain water is bringing down the ceilings. The interior won't be safely walked about in for much longer.

you can see layers of sections of time lived in there. overlaps. ....New things invented as time went along once new now old. The house has seen many a persons eras and many changes over the years. Things like this are like a pile of snapshots all fused together expressing real life documentation that we were here. It would be so interesting to see a time-lapse through the ages in chronological order instead of sorting out the time periods all mixed together but its also fun to sort that out too!!
