Hi, you're going to have to invest in some good quality snow chains, making sure you practice putting them on. The more practice, the quicker you will get. You'll thank me for the advice. Norway is very expensive just to let you know.

My immediate thought when you said the Air Force base was how would Jacob handle the noise as noise is a big thing with Autism, I doubt my grandson would handle it at that age. My concerns vanished seeing the joy on his face. You’re a great dad, so many dead beat dads around, you sure as hell aren’t one and I love you for that. My situation is my grandsons dad is my son and my son is a single dad, he has been since Haymish was 18 months old, he’s 22 now, hid knows where his mum is. Haymish is doing an electrical apprenticeship now, he’s doing really well and loving it, I’m so proud of him and my of my son who has got him, not without difficulty as I’m sure you’d understand, they share a unit in Darwin in Australia, their great mates. Love ya mate, you’re a great bloke. XXXX

Round the other side of Mildenhall in West Row is a pub called the Ferry Inn, the river runs next to it and just a stones throw to the Air Force base

I'm not sure is you're aware of the channel mispronounced adventures but Alex has done three Arctic trips o, a Transit, I highly reccomenr you watch his videos before attempting your trip. On a seperatenote, if you are looking for a peacful campsite near to Jacobs home, you could give Reedham Ferry a look. Not a holiday park but really quiet and there is a restaturanton site.

You need to get yourself over to wales and visit the Mach loop, these jets probably flew through the day you visited lakenheath. There is a park up but you then have to walk up the hills to get the best views. Unfortunately it is pot luck if you see anything but well worth it Load of KZbin videos available

Out of curiosity, do you often get people knocking on the van when your off grid? Is that where the concern come from?

@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES Thats terrible! Were they in Lay by, car park or somewhere else? Only ask as started wild camping more and whilst i knew this did happen you never expect it to happen to yourself! Will always be vigilant especially with the kiddos!

We’ve been wild camping for two years in our VW T5 never had “the knock” or any problems, I think it’s exaggerated on KZbin to get clicks! Mind you we have a beware of the dog sticker on the door (for good reason).
