This Old Guy called me to come visit for 30 minutes. He is from out of town. I made him react to Twenty One Pilots - Saturday and a few others. I had no idea that he was going to do some reactions with me. He was in my city and literally called to ask me what I was doing between 11:00-11:30am. He just wanted to have a quick cup of coffee.
It took about 10 minutes in our conversation when I told him he needed to react to some music with me. He had no idea what I meant about reacting to music either.
So....I sat him down and here is a reaction that is so pure and so raw, it took 14+ minutes to get through. I loved it. I am sure you are going to love this guest as well. Watch all 5 reactions that he did with me on my channel in different genres.

such a fun song and interesting music video. This song was written during lockdown and i think of it as kinda talking about his emotions during covid and feeling a bit 'lost at sea' when he couldn't perform live music and his relationship with his wife through that (lose my sense of time...weeks feel like days...floating circles in my fish bowl...i exaggerate the life we used to know) Always love your reactions to these guys!!

That's real audio from him and his wife when he was making this album and he threw it on this song A lot of the song is about how he struggled during covid and wondering if his wife is ok and if they're still ok The video is a part of their storyline - the outside is the next video in the story

That was awesome! Loved your banter with each other and your take on the video. Great observations and so entertaining to watch you two disect it. I was chuckling all the way through!! Great thing about TOP is that they, too, are eclectic. Tyler loves to blend sounds, genres, and decades. Actually, this album, Scaled and Icy, is a modernization of sounds from different decades. You'll hear lots of 70s, 80s, and 90s influences in their sounds on this album. It's really a treat for those of us who have lived those eras. You two should DEFINITELY do more reactions together. This was awesome!!! |-/ 🤍🤍

This video is part of a storyline. The dragon (Trash) was actually rescuing them. The next one is The Outside. Eclectic is a good way to describe twenty one pilots 😉 Their songs don’t really fall into any one genre.

Such a fun song! To give a bit of context: The album that this song is from, Scaled and Icy, i was created as a propaganda piece in the world they've been building.Tyler, the singer (whose character's name is Clancy) and Josh, the drummer (whose character's name is the Torchbearer) have been kidnapped by the heads of a religion called Vialism, and forced to write music and perform for them. That's why it's so vastly different, from their other work; It's not actually them! They really are genuises, honestly...

Hey Rob, I have a new flavor for you to savor! This is BLACKPINK, I'll give you a quick bio so you have some context: BLACKPINK is a four girl group out of S. Korea. I don't want to categorize them as K-Pop as they're a blend of pop, EDM, rap, trap and hip hop. All four girls grew up in different countries (Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and S. Korea) and are all multilingual, speaking 3-5 languages each, three are fluent English speakers. Their writer/producer is a rapper who grew up in New York and California before moving to S. Korea, where he led a successful group before focusing on writing and producing and became a hitmaker for multiple artists. He's incredible at blending English and Korean smoothly and creating addictive beats, hooks and drops. The four members were signed when they were 14-16 years old, then moved into the company dorms where they trained fourteen hours a day, seven days a week (one day off every two weeks) for Six Years before they debuted in 2016. Both of their debut hits broke records and nearly every song since then has been a record breaker. Their music videos are jaw-droppers, using no green screen (except for one of their debut songs), all practical props, sets and effects. They are currently the most subscribed artist on KZbin with over 84 million subscribers and over 28 billion views on their channel. Six of their videos have over one billion views, one of which just passed two billion. Check out their award-winning Netflix documentary *BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY* (I'll watch it on your Patreon if you post a reaction) Offstage the girls are sweet, humble and "adorkable", much different than their swag onstage personas. I've seen them twice in New York on their World Tour and had a great time. Check out their recent hit *PINK VENOM* kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYLPfoB6bcaog9U or their 2020 hit *HOW YOU LIKE THAT* kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6Cxn5poaKmef68 (turn on subtitles) Enjoy!!

Can you do more MCR? Like "desolation row" (cover of Bob Dylan's song) or "vampire money"? Or can you do something by The Used? "All that I've got" is a good video, some other good songs are "the taste of ink" and "on my own"

The creature in the water was a dragon 🐉 that also appeared in the "Shy Away" music video. The dragon is named Trash and represents "inspiration, fear, and magic".
