Thank you for adding the extra info I didn't know (or maybe didn't remember the first time I watched it). The second time I watched it, I felt a little sour because I focused on the relationship dynamic too much (excessive gaslighting). But you kind of reminded me of the bigger picture again and the beautiful irony which is ACTUALLY what makes this a good film.

BoJack Horseman, in the final season, has a couple of news reporters (Paige Sinclair and Max Banks) that I think are a send up(or possibly a tribute) to the characters in this film
