You know, the worst part is that I feel like he isn't even chilled out, . Spoilers for the last chapter: The way I interpreted the last chapter is kinda- wild. We just timeskip forward about five years and they're still together. It's a plot point that he doesn't remember things he doesn't emotionally connect to + the fact we skipped out on a year and a half of their relationship prior to the deletion attempt. The fact we don't get to see anything in this timespan, nor do we see anything after, makes me feel like he never got better, and that this is the only memory he has that he can latch onto. It gave me goosebumps when I thought about it like this.

The fact we don’t see them develop as a couple is just- it hits deep knowing this basically doesn’t have a happy ending. they tried their best and he was held off by a small moment he remembers fondly, but that’s all he’s living for. granted maybe he’s happy and just doesn’t remember he’s happy, but bit by bit he’s helping the other people in his life be happy and hold the memories for him, so… there’s that possible interpretation. This really just feels open ended the more I think about this manga.

The GF's psychotic, possessive and obsessive, ambition for attention disguised as nothing more than pure selfishness. Plus, her creepiness through the chapters was most likely a point of view from the MC, as well as resembling the way he relied on his imagination to keep in touch with the 'entertainment'. Both characteristics, by the end of the story, were near non-existent, result of their everlasting synchrony. With years of everlasting love to come.

Sh|t like this reminds me that I'm like both of them. I remember awkwardly stalking one of my first crushes for some time, how I swore that would be my only one...
