@@Liz_678 they say certain cemeteries are haunted. I wouldn't say it about this place but maybe just maybe the ghost of someone nearby was trying to get their attention. Like hey I'm over here. Anyway.. Merry Christmas to y'all and everyone else out there and happy new years.

Great walking tour, thank you very much GV and Sue. Fascinating cemetery, and monuments. Smart judge, the family probably started arguing in front of the judge, who probably got pissed off, and made his decision. Thank you very much, for a great video. 😊

I just love the monuments and statues in cemetaries like these. So breathtaking the stonework...thank you for a lovely tour and readings. What sets you guys apart is that you do such a perfect job reading the stones and their age. I have always since a little girl loved to walk cemetaries and i did...because of the peace but also to read the stones. Thanx so so much.❤😊❤😊

I just stumbled upon your channel today and I just adore you guys. I am a huge fan of visiting old and forgotten cemeteries and it’s so interesting to see them outside of the U.S. I have a fond appreciation for the detail and care that people took in burying their deceased. The fact that someone included “his left eye was carried away” on someone’s epitaph is a great example. I mean no disrespect by saying it, but anyone who reads that will definitely be left with an impression, and it almost absolutely ensures that person goes on being remembered. Thank you for doing what you do!

On the crypt with the engraving that was in question, the cipher means 'Alpha and Omega'. The statement “I am the Alpha and the Omega” occurs four times in the New King James Version of the Bible, all in the book of Revelation (1:8, 11; 21:6; 22:13). This self-description is used by both God the Father and by Jesus Christ. There ya go.... your Bible lesson for today!

How could she be a nun when there is a husband named on the tombstone ? Maybe their daughter was a nun and was interred with her parents but her name is not on the tombstone. Nuns take a vow of chastity and don't marry.

@@GraveVisitations it's possible that she left the convent with permission, got married but eventually regretted leaving. I've known former sisters like that. Her family knowing that or even at her request put up the statue as a longing of the heart.
