I believe one of the early gigs they had as trick the fox was the opening of an adidas store back in the day. They also did a photo shoot back then. I think he has nostalgia feelings about it.

This is filmed outside council housing (i.e. government housing/the projects/HUD housing). Besides the great sounds picked up, it's perfectly symbolic about the struggles of everyday Brits. Even more, I love that it's pleasant - a quartet, some mates kicking a ball around, etc. - not graffiti laden, dilapidated walls (and often Ren's video locations). The original video is good too. Makes a lot of sense that this song would be on his mind given the Kujo/Sick Boi situation & the whole legal drama between the Verve and the Rolling Stones on the original "Bittersweet Symphony". I love Ren's retakes. His "Right Here, Right Now" is fun (with cheeky lyrics).

This is filmed on the grounds of what we call an apartment complex here in the US. I'm not sure, but I think they may be a rent-controlled apartments. But yeah, the video captures everyday real life in Britain. Thanks for the reaction.
