Subaru is the Japanese word for the star group the Pleiades, which is why the car with the same name has those 6 or 7 stars as the logo. There is also a Japanese observatory with the same name on the summit of Mauna Kea on the big island of Hawaii.

Watching this reaction not having watched any of the anime yet but having read over half the source material (it's adapted from a light novel series not a manga which isn't too unusual but does put it in the minority). I will probably watch the anime once I'm up to date with the books. 5:22 I'm feeling a bit surprised that's where they started: the first book starts with Subaru arriving in the other world and while there are a couple of times when he thinks to himself about having been on his way home from the convenience store there isn't a big flashback about it. Puck's voice is so different from what I'd imagined!

Yeah, Yumi Uchiyama does Puck and Rudy. I'm always amazed at how quickly some reactors ID voice actors! 37:11 the porcelain doll. I believe the author is only half-way through the light novels so it's possible the porcelain doll is the Big Bad after all.
