Could have been a good story until we get to the repetitive repetitive repetitive padding out, is the author paid by the word? and not helped by the narrator repeating lines over and over.

I agree with all the comments on the repetitive phrasing. There is also the repetition of whole sentences at the end of each section/chapter or whatever. The text to speech translation was mechanical, stilted and off-putting. The hard stops at periods and even the commas didn't help at all. It distracted me from what had the potential of being a good story to making myself finish and not just exiting. I don't know if the text to speech used is only on this channel but, I have noticed the same problems on other stories. I am considering just blocking a channel that uses this text to speech software in the future.

Yes, way to many times is the same sentence used to describe a scene. For all I know a predatory grin is their default and only face expression.

Good story. Lousy artificial narrator. Apparently there are multiple versions of this one, or multiple versions of narrator software, the same voice is used on. It's sounded much better before, and sometimes..only a little better other times. As others pointed out, it's repeating itself too much. Very hard to believe that the script was actually written that badly, for such a good story.
