This happened to my buddy vivid tonight, we were playing and his game just shut down and they deleted everything on his profile (including his comments signed by multiple pros) it’s super unfortunate, idk how they can even bypass steam guard and do this.

i had the same thing to me however i didn't see till 24hrs later, the hacker traded like $1800 worth of skins and he disabled my steam guard on my phone. He then reported his account for theft so that i could report and actually write anything with proof.

I’ve had this happen to me. Exact same thing. I blocked the dude and unfriended him and he could still msg and change my shit and even take away the games I purchased. Luckily I still had the license to the games so I could get them back but I put my account as offline and didn’t go on my pc for a day or 2 and reported him to steam and idk he just stopped

That happened to me once, i had around 150 euro skins, some player that i've played with on faceit added me and send me some tournament site, asking to play with him. The site gave me option only to login via Steam, and unfortunately i did that. A month later mine account was hacked from API Key, saying it was from Russia, saying to transfer skins to another account which i did and he used some next lvl shit to duplicate that account, and i literally have send all my skins to his account. Not gonna lie, that was stupid of me, but the same shit from video was on my profile, account bann, i had some email that looked like Steam Admin, colored text and different, also steam chat was all like Steam Admin was writing to me. Later i found out that he only changed description of my profile to look like i was flagged by Steam for "buying some skins from a scammer"... If this happends to some of you, instantly change your API Key and check your edit profile on steam, that must have been only edited from profile description, dont panic just change API Key, and then log out of every device you have been logged in. Trust me, and save your money and dont do stupid stuff like I did.
