The last section of the song with the 70s melodies are almost a combination of stardust chords and heat above with the powerful dynamics that fade to the softer undertones♡

It's excellent to witness young people taking a shine to a music style which is over 40 years old and FEEL the music I fell in love with ages ago. I believe this band will inspire many young bands to make more music that reaches the soul in this somewhat hollow digital age. I've been waiting so long for this type of thing to happen. Somehow music seemed to have lost it's soul for quite some time. I think it's back now. I'm very excited to see what comes of music in the coming years. Long live GVF!

They've started with adapting Led Zeppelin's iconic Core Sound and improved/evolved it so much, that it now became their very own Part of their Musical Identity. I couldn't be happier about this, especially because I'm loving the LZ Sound and therefore, getting so happy everytime I hear them bringing it back better and better with every Album and EP they're putting out. I've been a Fan since "Highway Tune", loved their "From the Fires" EP as well as their two official Albums "Anthem of the Peaceful Army" and "Battle at the Garden's Gate" and I can fully assure, that I always will be loyal to them, appreciating their Passion for LZ-esque Classic Rock'nRoll Sound & Feeling. One of the greatest Bands of the early 21st Century for sure. 😎🤩

Loved your reaction. I'm 56, grew up with Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Marley and not much of a fan of pop music these days but this band is something else. I just got exposed to GVF with Highway Tune within these last few months and am simply astonished at how good they are. However, THIS brilliant song is now my absolute favorite of theirs. I just love how it goes from this ethereal, gorgeously textured, almost folksy song to a sumptuous soaring power ballad. The vocals first remind me of Plant, with some sprinkling of Jon Anderson and Geddy Lee but they clearly have a Zeppelin sound to them and I love it! Thanks!

Listen to this song for the guitar solo, this other song for the drum/keyboard section, this other song for the notes Josh hits. I now have 1 song that encapsulates all that is great about GVF. This is a stunning record!

This is what the band said about the song in the email announcing its release; "Meeting the Master peers into an esoteric world heeded by the word of a wise teacher. Sung in the voice of a devout believer, and eventual group exclamation, the song details the love these fervent followers have for their teacher and their firm belief in his vision. It's an exotic spiritual journey. A dark comedy that inevitably ends in chaos."

And the way I discovered them was where a critic was dissing them for sounding like Zeppelin. It's about time someone brought decent music to the stage that's reminiscent of the 70s. I miss the 70s. Greta's music makes me happy as a lark! Robert Plant isn't upset about it. :) Best wishes to you.

Geez Caity, of course you're cute. Of course when you speak, we all hope you don't sound like a "Valley Girl" (yeah, 70's). but gurl, could you show us that (from me, I'm a published rock lyricist, and I married only once. She was as beautiful as any view from a summit along the ridge of Tibet, but when she held my hand, it had to be from her soul, and not cuz "I DON'T WANT TO FALLLLLLLLL!". She was so beautiful, and the kicker to this story is all of the guys in HS (I was a year older) were completely in love with her, and her autistic spectrum condition (used to be called "aspergers syndrome" which there are TWO types: One is the super-smart but "Tic" riddled body movements and sounds, and the second condition was simply called "THE ACTOR". My wife was SO beautiful, especially being a part of when girls were fairy creatures (60's-70's, no bras, no MOMMY JEANS, just babydoll dresses, long long hair parted down the middle, and that loving SMILE that told every guy who saw this face of an angel smiling straight at them, it was a sign that every poor dude who passed her in the hallway and smile at her, GOT THE SAME --- so this beauty had every guy in the school thinking she was THE ONE. Problem: Even with that smile directed at you, did it really mean "SUCCESS"? NO GUY IN MY HIGH SCHOOL EVER WANTED TO TAKE THAT CHANCE. They settled for the fantansy that she was very "SHY" so she couldn't be more "forward", so all the guys, including myself, believed we HAD A CHANCE. I ended up marrying her 30 years later, she married once before, me never cuz I was a rock musician, semi-pro surfer, fashion show producer, promoter of "marginalized women" (petites, Plus-sized, and women over 40). I HATED THAT CERTAIN PEOPLE IGNORED THE BEAUTY OF EVERY PERSON. My life is full of Synchronicity. This was pointed out to me from an ANGEL of SYNCHRONICITY who appeare in front of me as I finished up my lecture notes on my best-selling book on redheads while sitting in the oldest Irish bar in Minneapolis. This creature from nowhere, softly advised me to get a certain book that was published just before mine. I did. "The Celestine Prophecy". [by James Redfield]. Anyway, the talk here is based on me asking CAITY to stop being the focus (she's almost there) of herself and transport the music FIRST before she says anything but an intro. Also, lose the googie ads that actually BREAK UP THE FLOW OF THE SONG. That happened. Sacrilege. CAITY - I WROTE THIS IN A SOULFUL THOUGHT ABOUT WHY MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE (Yep, I married the hottest chick in my HS, thereby making me, successful in EVERY AREA I COMMANDED: Fashion Producer, Fashion Trend KING (Redheads), BEST KNOWN MANAGER AND AGENT for the HOTTEST REDHEAD MODELS in the world, Producer of the 1997 COCA COLA RED SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL, where I Provided ALL the redheads for the commercial. I OWNED THE REDHEAD PHENOMENON. In 2022, my non-profit celebrated it's 40 year anniversary, with over 50,000 members nationwide all watching IRISH get-togethers based on our 1982 LARGEST GROUP OF REDHEADS EVER (422) but ignored by the Guinness World Book of Records because we were AMERICANS. Didn't stop us. You can see us on KZbin, a short teaser we put up years ago,"REDHEADS - MARK OF THE ANGELS", because we don't know what to do with over 50 hours of digitized REDHEAD BEAUTY PAGEANTS HELD THROUGH THE 1980's-90's. Yep. We got the footage with hundreds of redhead beauties (ignore the timestamped hairstyles) wandering with the largest REDHEAD FEMALE INVASIONS at Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Marineworld, LA Zoo, SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN, and 20 other public AMUSEMENT PARKS where their EVENT COODINATORS made each girl their own T-SHIRT with the park's name and logo, and the name of our Redhead show. Wow, I should delete this blather, but I wouldn't be bummed if someone else did. 😝

“The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he did not exist.” ... This song is blasphemous. They are worshipping satan not god. In the original video, He does the illuminati hand symbol (666) covering his eye in the beginning, and points the sword to the sky which is also symbolism. The album is called "star catcher"... Also don't forget this came out on GOOD FRIDAY. Totally mocking Jesus...These people sold their souls to the enemy. Remember, the devil is the greatest deceiver and the music is how he deceives others. They are getting people to repeat the same lyrics over and over, creating chants to their "master" which is Satan. Please stay safe and think about the things you choose to listen to and sing.
