Teddy Swims is just an absolutely insanely talented individual isn't he? Teddy Swims is actually his stage name, with "swims" being an acronym for "Someone Who Isn't Me Sometimes". I’m no expert but from listening to vocal coach reactors that ‘grit’ that singers put in does not come from the actual vocal folds but from false vocal folds which is why it doesnt leave the artist with a sore throat

Don't watch a reactor like DJ if you want to listen to the song all the way through without interruption. He stops all the time. He tells you to go listen to the original if you want to watch without his pauses. So quit complaining here and go listen to the original without needing to fast forward.
