Korn was God status after this. Best concert I ever went to was seeing them around that time. Mosh pits were insane. Nobody on a cell phone taking videos

It´s in your head and mind forever mate! I was 8 years old 1999, at the time and I heard about Korn for the first time through a friend. It was just such a great time! I never want to miss!

Well, cell phones with cameras didn't come out till that year, so yeah, no cell phones in the air. But I get your point. Concerts should be enjoyed, not standing with your phone in the air the whole time!!

90’s mosh-pits were crazy before all the health and safety regulations were brought in. I went to see Korn live over here in England, UK, back in 1997. I was a skinny 19 year old and decided to be at the front in the mosh pit. This song kicked things off - the crowd went insane and scared the shit out of me, lol. It was so packed that I couldn’t even get my feet back on the ground. Then I got booted in the head multiple times by “Crowd Surfers” (more like “crowd rollers” really). At that point I knew I had to get the hell out of the pit, but we were all so jam-packed together that the only way out was to get myself up and crowd surf over the front barrier. So that’s what I did. Then watched the rest of the show from the side. “ARE YOU READY!?”… No. No I wasn’t. I honestly thought I was gonna die at one point. 🤣 As an aside, Incubus were the support band that night. I’d never heard of them before but they were brilliant. I enjoyed them much more than Korn and am still a big fan today.

First of all, I can’t say I can identify with this one. As a grey haired old lady I just can’t take the noise! I do have an appreciation for the message but for me it was lost in all the noise. Having said that, spirit has a way of presenting these things at the right moment if we’re awake enough to catch it so it got your attention. Now, stress is a vicious thing so I’ll give you some unsolicited advice…my dad used to say “Don’t overthink it.” Next, go outside and put your bare feet in the grass…in nature you can literally ground yourself. Ground yourself!

I was there at Woodstock 99. I was dead center in the sea of people when Limp Bizkit and KORN played. When I say we felt a buzzing and felt like the crowd was moving like a wave pool is an understatement. At first I was worried about crushing bc my Gf was with me but it was great. No issues, except for the heat, water and food issues from the event planners. After the acts finished we left Saturday night, luckily before the nightmare started Sunday.

I was 17 years old and watched Woodstock’99 at a friend’s house On Demand. I remember seeing the crowd go completely insane when Blind came on and still to this day, imho, it’s the greatest shot of a crowd at any show I’ve ever seen, period.

Omg... I wish everyone could experience that "crowd wave" just once in their lives. My first time was at RATM's battle of LA tour in Nashville. The energy and force of the crowd literally causes it to feel like jumping waves in an ocean. The waves somewhat carried me for a few seconds of weightlessness... and as someone who is sensitive to human energy, it's an undefined feeling of mass exhilaration. It's not euphoric, but just weightless burst of energy, a happy freedom.

Saw them at 1997 Lollapalooza at Great Woods (not named that anymore) in Massachusetts. They came out on the Low rider bikes and sparkling Adidas sweat suits! The bass drum and bass guitar as well as guitar teasing the crowd with just subtle beats and scratching riffs. The best years of my life 18 years old, not a care in the world and EVERYONE got along, no matter the race, the political side you chose. Being a kid/teenager is an innocence that the mind and spirit can NEVER get back. Now I look back on those days, close my eyes and just escape for a few moments. KZbin has memories like this locked and loaded for as close to a time travel experience as possible. What whaaaaaat!! Happy Friday folks!!

Korn's early work up until 2000 was particularly deep. Especially the first 2 albums when Jon was still working thru childhood trauma and they were all pretty heavy drinkers and other things. But songs like Daddy, Kill You, Mr. Rogers, Clown, and on the next 2 albums you have Pretty, Justin, Falling Away From Me, etc are all meaningful messeges

I saw them at Ozzfest 2003 - when they headlined with Marilyn Manson - and Ozzy (obviously). That whole show was awesome I went 2001, 2002, and 2003 - so l always forget who played each year... Manson was there in 2001, Rob Zombie in 2002, but most of the lesser-known bands I can't remember which year they played... I DO remember Mudvayne in 2001 though, they were awesome. If you can fit them into your playlist, I think you'd dig a lot of Mudvayne's songs. "Nothing to Gein" is one of my favorites but it's not as popular as a lot of their later stuff.

Man, I urge you to react to Family Value Tour '98 (specifically 98, not 99), there were Korn (as headliners), Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, Orgy, Rammstein. One of the coolest tours ever, in my opinion, and with the great tour video recorded and mastered P.S. There was one of the song performed by Korn and Ice Cube together (Children of the Korn), and also Ice cube performed the song "F*** Dying", although without Korn, but that was recorded with Korn musicians on the album. Also, DJ Lethal from House of Pain is the member of Limp Bizkit, and on this tour they performed cover of House of Pain hit "Jump Around" (although it seems to be produced by Cypress Hill DJ according to Wikipedia. Also, they had Easy Rock From the Rock-Steady Crew breakdancing on stage during the performance of this song (and also one another b-boy, but I don't remember his name) Also, Orgy is such a cool band! =) Also, Rammstein's part is sooo cool, especially "Buch Dich" song, check it out, you woooon't regreat it ;-)

For the diversity of artists at Woodstock '99 festival, it was the hard rock/ heavy metal bands that closed ALL 3 NIGHTS and triumphed on their stages over rap, pop, R&B and every other genre of artists who performed... Night 1, KoRn was the band that ruled the stage that night... Bush (the band) went on after them but could not compete w/ their response. Night 2, Limp Bizkit took the stage first w/ the #1 album in the US that week and the crowd got so amped up that barriers were getting pulled down and wrecked... Rage Against the Machine came after and the crowd was jacked to 11... Metallica finished the evening's set w/ their heavy set and triumphed. Night 3, tensions were starting to simmer in the summer heat... Sevendust performed, followed by Creed... Megadeth took on one stage and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the other to close the festival... The Chili Peppers distributed candles for a peaceful vigil to mark the tragedy of the Columbine shooting... but the crowds started lightning bonfires and the crowd lit up and started burning and looting the stands in frustration. It was a sad end to the legacy of what was once a festival for 'peace & love' 30 years earlier.

Something good and funny to react to is T-pain's reaction to LL Cool J... I'm Bad. To help you with stress healthy foods. Sounds weird but a salad with a mixture like spinach, tomato, lettuce or look at a salad restaurant I can't remember the one I go to, but they put so many toxic things in food that many people don't put together to why they can't think clearly. Look into it. Exercise for blood flow. Even if it's a small daily. Something you can do with kids or the whole family walk. Park outing with family. Believe me it helps a lot. Even if it's 5 to 30 mins. I hope I help out. The healthy foods will help with blood flow which will help you think. IDK WTF they are putting in our foods or rather I'm learning. That's a new one for even me. I'm sure we have someone here who can explain that part better than me, but it is happening. Crazy

I had loneliness and almost a feeling of despair after my second was born, and I didn't realize it may have been a postpartum thing going on. It may also have nothing to do with that for you. Just something to think about. Good luck with everything and congrats on the newborn.
