Actually Teddy is a big teddy bear and a sweetheart. He’s from Conyers, GA outside of Atlanta. His grandfather was a Pentecostal pastor and he mentioned being raised to treat people with kindness and respect. Also, he was finally signed to a record deal but not his band, who happens to be his childhood friends he’s been playing with all these years. He decided to paid their salary out of his own pocket. It speaks volumes to the kind of person he is. I’ve been listening to his YT covers for years now and couldn’t believe he was unsigned. Right now, this hit song and his recent global fame is so well deserved. Such a good person with so much much talent. ♥️🎹🎵🎤🎶

Swims is a acronym. Someone Who Isn't Me Sometimes. Real name Jaten Dimsdale. They hale from Atlanta. They signed with warner and were in California one week, then covid lockdown. That slowed their rise. First album released in September with this song. Check out some of their covers, along with originals.

Teddy's really not as scary as the tats make him seem. He just loves tattoos and has said as soon as his mom allowed him to get one when he was in high school he did and has been adding them ever since.

It’s definitely a love song. It’s about being together so much you depend on each other and can’t even tie your shoes or fix a sandwich without checking in with your love. Codependent love. It’s what every relationship evolves into and it’s a really good thing. Until you are not together.
