Thanks to the Patreon who requested this. This song was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The repeated lyric, "never look back," is highly relevant to me as some things are just not worthy of being re-visited because what is done is done. Look to the future instead.

Dunno if you read the description of the video, but in case you didn't, it said that this was recorded in one take. Overdubs and production aside, that's actually pretty amazing, especially for such an amazing and layered song. Love this band so much! Edit: also that moment at about 3:40-ish in the original video, where Einar switches from head voice to chest voice so seamlessly, is just mind-blowing. You can't hear the transition at all, it just flows so smoothly. Absolutely insane.

I really liked this, the vocalist is obviously talented, and the laid-back style just works so well here. The subtle music really let's the talent of the singer stand out. Quality stuff.

I saw them open once and they BLEW ME AWAY. I can't remember if they opened for the Dear Hunter or Tesseract but they made an impression.

Leprous is special. Listening to their musical journey from Tall Poppy Syndrome and to yesterdays release of Atonement is just spectacular🤘 Go see them live If you can. They are crushing it🥳 This song was recorded at Ocean Sound Recording, located on a small Island named GIiske, a 30 minutes drive from my home. Such a beautiful place. Cheers!

This was awesome! During the Pandemic my wife and I decided to fix our house up and sell it. There were many days and hours that I was working by myself and Leprous was part of my sound track for that experience. It was actually very satisfying looking back at what I was able to accomplish and every time I hear this band I get a hit of nostalgia. Amazing stuff!

Leprous are in my top 3 of modern prog bands together with Haken and Caligula's Horse! Here are some suggestions for them: Haken - 1985 Haken - Falling back to earth Leprous - Nighttime disguise Leprous - Distant bells Caligula's Horse - Bloom + Marigold Caligula's Horse - Graves

This song resonates with me on an emotional level that I haven't been able to explain to anyone else. The syncopated percussion and subtle but effective bass rhythms were unbelievably effective. I wish that the guitar solo had been more congruent with the emotional theme of the song; but that is literally my only complaint. Just an amazing song..

The funny thing is that I am more familiar with the solo work of Raphael Weinroth-Browne, who plays cello on their recent albums, including this song, than with the music of Leprous. However I loved their album Malina. I need to listen to the rest.

Please check out Caligula's Horse! Aussie Prog metal band that needs more love. Some of the best and deepest lyrical writing, stunning vocal performance, and all the instrumentation is stellar, without being showy for showy's sake. It all serves the themes of the song. Their latest album Charcoal Grace is a concept album, and is 75min of perfection. It came out in January this year, and I'm still finding it hard to want to listen to other things. I'm still uncovering new depths in the lyrics and music.
