Sam screams.-keep listening. There was no golden buzzer on the table. He/ the band elected to part ways at the contract table- not convinced they’d have artistic freedom and keep the band together (though the contracts are awful too). The song is What Makes You Sad. It’s available now. Keep listening. Nicotine Dolls are great, and he’s a wonderful songwriter and singer.

The band still is! AGT requested he come on the show. He insisted they credit and include the band and walked from continuing to preserve the band. And I’d guess to dodge an awful contract, too.

I like the texture and tone of his voice. Although I'm not a big fan of singers who put an affect on their speech patterns when singing (that may be what it contributing to the facial contortions that were commented on). I think it shows signs of it being more of a crutch than good technique or emotional expression. But hey that's just my opinion, and we all know what that's worth. 😉

I value your opinion I'm fairly new to checking out singers like this so the mention of speech patterns is something that was oblivious to me until you mentioned it. - Killer

you're wrong. His voice is not an affectation, he amways sings that way, its his natural singing voice. Moreover, he doesn't always have exaggerated facial expressions and when he does they are not always the same, not do they correlate to his singing style.

@@cbrend22 Triggered fan? If he enunciated words the same when he is talking and singing then it would not be an affect. But since it is different, it is a conscious affect he is putting into his singing voice. Maybe you are mistaking an affect as a disability, it is not, it's a choice he is making that if he wanted to, he could choose not to do it.

@@michaelbradley7529 There actually is an anatomical reason for his enunciation when singing, not an affectation, so you’ve made an incorrect judgement. And he’s addressed face and body movements when he sings, saying he’s tried to control them but hasn’t been able to do so.
