Not only did Hisagi pop off but put some respect on my guy Komamura! He stepped in for Ikkau and delivered easily! It was against a lower opponent for a captain but still, he was pretty cold!

Without spoiling the novels, the reason Husagi’s zanpakuto doesn’t count as a duel zanpakuto is actually because the core of his Shikai isn’t the scythes, it’s the chain that connects them. The chain is actually his Shikai’s “real” form.

Nice one. Also we see that Tosen and Hisagi's philosophy about fighting is that you have to be afraid of your sword and fighting to have the right to wield the sword in the first place. Contrast this to what Urahara taught Ichigo in like 1st season. That you don't need fear while fighting. I just like that every squad/soul reaper has different outlook on fights and this ultimately plays into the themes of Bleach which I won't disclose yet. We also see squad 11 people who only want to win with their own brute strength like Ikkaku (refusing to use bankai) and Yumichika (using false name for his zanpaktou to avoid others finding out the true powers) which may always not be a good thing for the overall situation.

Definitely not good for the fighting situations lol. But thanks Haze! We as a group do enjoy the differences between the squad's philosophies. It just goes to show that Kubo is a good writer and has spent time on his actual story and detailing. LOVE TO SEE IT. Also hope you keep enjoying the reactions😎.

nice reaction guys, great to see you really liked Hisagi's fight! it's one of the best ones in the series tbh. the chain is the true part of his zanpakuto tho so he's not a duel wielder altho it looks like 2 scythes. Hisagi actually got to be a main character in the Bleach novels that take place 6months after the end of the manga story. he's gotten pretty popular in terms of the shinigami characters in the Gotei 13 the humans got put to sleep & the real Karakura Town got moved into the Rukongai District in Soul Society so ya it was dangerous if one of the pillars got destroyed as things would revert back. you'll get to see some Espadas fight soon enough 👌

In the light novel can't fear your own world where shuhei hisagi is the main character they explained that his sword is not the scythe but it's actually the chains that links them. so that's why they don't consider him a dual wielder I don't know if you want to accept that explanation cuz again it's in the light novel but it's still cool that he ended up getting his own novel
