Hisense Roku TV: Factory Reset without Remote

I wanted to thank you for showing this video. I was just days away from throwing away my 50 inch Hisense Roku Tv because it came on then had 17 red flashes then kept turning back off. I tried unplugging the power cord and took out my remote batteries and it still didn't solve my problem. Finally, 5 months later after holding on to my tv and decided to throw it away in 3 days. Something told me to try to search the internet one more time just to see if I had any luck on finding a solution and behold I saw your video. I only had to press and hold the reset button and my tv started back working. I even turn the power off then back on and it works like a brand new tv so thank you again because I couldn't have fixed it without your help.

Thanks, good to know. I was able to fix my Hisense tv by just soft booting it (unplug power for a minute). For those who need to reprogram without the remote: you need a remote. If yours' is lost go buy a programmable remote at the store and use that.

I just get a continuous loop of the logo off and on factory reset doesnt work since it’s powering on and off, never buying another gd hicense I’d buy an old tube tv from the 70’s before ever messing with hicense.

My internet went off and then so did the Roku TV staying in recovery mode. I actually believe somebody's in control of it. There was stuff on my search which I don't even look at like football and stuff like that. I don't even like football so somebody else's stuff is on my Roku that means somebodys crap is on on my tv.

No, I tried what I could. So now it's an expensive ornament until I have the money to fix or replace. I've been watching Netflix on my phone, not the greatest solution but for now it isn't hurting my wallet 😁 thanks for checking in 🌹

but before replacing parts, try a hard reset first. unplug tv, press and hold power button on tv (not on the remote) for 30 sec - 60 sec. plug tv back in outlet and try. hope this helps. best wishes, Very informative, Lord-Jesus-Christ com

I have a " Hisense tv 40eu300. While I am watching it. The SOUND will go to MUTE for no reason. Then I have to turn the TV off and then back on to get the SOUND back. Can you help me with this problem? Awesome video thanks for sharing it.

@@snake991231 you need a new mainboard or powerboard. Sometimes it's not the mainboard but rather the powerboard. Whats your model number?

@@pinkberry50 literally the same as you, started 3-4 days ago and keeps restarting. I was on my Xsx and it just cut off into a endless loop cycle. On Reddit everyone says the update started this and that you should use Facebook to contact hisense and let them come and repair the TV themselves. So far that’s the only fix that I have found

Greetings. I have a Hisense-Roku TV Model 50RGE1 which is causing a problem. All of a sudden the image disappeared and a green back-screen appeared with the logo on. It disappears for a few seconds and then comes back on. I have pressed the "reset" button, for 7, 15 and up to 30 seconds, but nothing happens. Avoid hisense at all cost. Main board boot loop issues. Mine lasted 1 yr and a half. Dont believe me just search hinsense boot loop

Go to walmart and purchase a roku remote. The cool part is the remotes sold from roku there have voice on it. (I am a certified repair technician for the manufacturers for warranty claims.)
