I was hoping.... didn't work. I tried a bunch of other videos also. It must be dead dead, well red light turns on when I turn it on. After about 2.5 years it's ashame and of course warrenty is up. No picture or sound. Thanks though. I liked the info on redoing on control especially since I have no picture or sound.

I have an issue with my Hisense similar to this. I think it's because I leave it on all the time and let it go to screensaver when I'm not watching it. It's about 2 years old now. When I turn it on it goes to the 'home screen' but only for a second, then it goes black, then to the Hisense - Roku TV logo, then back to black, then to the logo screen and repeats that continuously! I tried the first method: nothing. I'm going to try the other 2 now. I HOPE one of them work!

My Hisense would have a Great Picture Until I Clicked on A Video On KZbin or HBO max then The video Would Be almost like a negative Photo. All colors Were Black and Couldn’t make out peoples face even. So tried my Xbox thru HDMI and Same the Home Screen was Black almost not there even. So I did step one With Remote and Now my KZbin is back to Normal and so Is my Xbox thru HDMI. I was sure the TV was Going Out And I needed to Get a new One But not Yet !! Thanks 🙏

My one 65inch was black with sound.. I had to open back cover and push in the connector.. . TV is 7 years old still running with no problems.. Got Samsung 75inch as well way worse than hisense.. Wow, seriously thank you so very much. Would you happen to know why it does this? We purchased this television from Costco for Christmas and it’s been working well. All of a sudden the screen looked weird, everything on the television cartoon my daughter was watching (peppa pig) got really dark. However on the menu screens, everything looks normal. It only turned dark when watching something. Anyway, I did exactly what you did with the remote and the television rebooted and now it’s working. You are incredible!!!! I can only imagine how many people just return the television without realizing this rebooting using the remote control. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

I was watching a movie on Netflix and my TV went black, then went to my app selection screen then went completely black. I've unplugged it for 30 seconds, nothing, unplugged it for 1 minute and still nothing. Tried the 5 1 2 2 trick and still nothing. My little light just blinks red 3 times. It does this as soon as I plug it in and the power button has no affect on the light. Ever ran across this problem?

I'm sorry but this just simply does not work. I've seen multiple videos of people with their TV's already working trying this same step. The remote thing doesn't work at all for me doesn't even do anything. My problem is when I click on HDMI 1 for my Xbox it's deep dark back and red with a little green. It was fine til this morning I go to live tv it's the same problem but when I changed pic mode to movie it looked fine
