Love my E5. Biggest problems for me though are like you said, the drive wheels and ammorack, and I also think it struggles with turret traverse, and if you move your turret just a little bit to the side, they’ll go right through it, so you have to be pretty smart about positioning. Love the vids dude 👊

How to play E5; be agressive af but dont rush without your teammates . always hulldown, dont trust your side armor. Hug people as possible as you can. Use calibrated shells to annoy armored tanks. While hugging: -use your gun mantlet to block shells. - dont fall back -always wiggle -cover the weakpoint where he looks at

Both are good for different reasons. Chieftain gets more mobility and an arguably better gun, but loses even more armor. I prefer the mk)

I often struggle in the chieftain against tanks like the e5 and the kran bc of the cupola that the chieftain has and its really bad premium pen. Any tips as to how I should play against those? Btw loving the vids!

Generally it comes down to the situation and of course marksmanship with a tank like the chieftain. However, the weak hatch means you don’t have time to aim shots or even poke our in most situations. If you must, try and wait for the opponent to become distract or take your shot when they aren’t pre aiming.

I wish WG added the x-ray feature so you could see where your ammo rack is in the garage. Always ran 2 repair kits because my rack kept getting hit so thank for pointing out its location, I will be able to play better now hopefully and will give the risk reward a try

The tank is overall good in my opinion but the armour can’t be very effective if not hull down, the tracks can also be taken down easily, no side armour whatsoever, easy to HE at the rear. It’s definitely a solid tank, has good speed to get into advantage positions but compared to an IS-4 it’s not as good or fun, that’s my opinion though

You have to counter aim or pre lead the shots. Definitely recommend using the old variant as the new variant is impossible to adjust.
