They briefly mentioned about the Japanese envoys kentoushi 遣唐使。 History Channel did a series called Ancient Discoveries. Six episodes were devoted exclusively to Chinese inventions, which make up a long list. CCTV-6 China movie channel features a lot of Chinese historical dramas and documentaries. All of them on KZbin.
