Right, and the democrat party showed us they don't give a fig about the constitution. Instead of having a primary, a presidential candidate is installed, if anyone disagrees or has different ideas than they do, they are censored on social media, they ignore the Supreme Court and do whatever they want to do despite being told it's against the law, and they use the law to go after people that threatens their agenda, like some third world country. This country was saved by Trump's election, not doomed, as it would have been under Harris. And one more thing, women have other issues that are important to them besides abortion.

Good luck to the lot of you Americans I give up. Many are blaming mainstream media but the reality is that well over half of the country has zero morals, zero values, zero integrity and a healthy dose of xenophobia mixed with ignorance. That is factually what the US just showed to the world. I had been due to celebrate a part of my 60th year cycling the Trans America Cycling route in spring but today have cancelled the whole thing (flights, hotels etc). Thinking on it, I have a better than even chance of engaging the mindless and morally bereft people who caused this and I have no desire to do that during a celebration nor do I have any desire whatsoever to pay any of my money to these people. I have worked in education and mental health care for 45 years. I have been advocating for those who feel marginalized, i have tried to be a role model for those who have experienced trauma and addiction and rose up from that darkness with more determination to be better and do more for others. I feel that this election has broken my spirit. I have been thinking about the march towards doing bold things to move the country forward towards a more equitable society, and concluded that those efforts peaked with LBJ's Great Society. All that has happened since then is one side tries to patch it together with duct tape and Elmer's glue while the other side goes at it with a hammer and chisel. I don't see that it is going to change. Im a year away from retirement. I've decided that I am going to retire abroad.

By lunch, as initial interviews went from one to the other patients, the interns eyes glazed over, checking their watch for quitting time. Lol, after years passed, you see the same behavior from the interns, residents, and patients. The face changes but the behavior is the same. I’m telling you guys, if they take the house too, I GUARANTEE there will be an amendment either granting a third term, or even going so far as to install him as King. He’s telling us that what he wants. And Republican law makers are so spineless they’ll go along with it. Terrifying.
@wanderer852952 ай бұрын
In order for an ammendment to be adopted and added to the constitution it needs to be ratified by 2/3 of the states after passing through the house the senate and signed by the president . Now they might be able to pull off the house , senate , and president but it's very unlikely to get the 2/3 of the states to get on board. Not to mention that trump is the picture of health and wellness and is as young and chipper as a spring chicken . What is he 81 82 something like that. I'll be surprised if he even makes it through the next 4 years mich less have the health and strength to be able to run for another term . But I am the eternal optimist so who knows maybe I'm just trying to find a silver lining or something

From Europe. Last night i watched a movie on WWII. I can’t believe that Americans have elected another Hitler. Same words, same policies, same ideas. We were reflecting with some friends that many, many Americans are uneducated, so they don’t even know what happened during WWIi, except in movies. And all the people who had gone through this war have either died or are too old to talk about it, a voice in the desert. Therefore, lessons have not been learned. Start from scratch. Again. I wish good luck to the non Trump. Hold tight and protect as much your freedoms as you can.

As an American, I am literally in mourning for my country. I cannot believer this either. And you are spot on about the lack of basic education and history in our schools, especially at early levels. Our education and school books must be federalized so our kids will be taught accurately. I also want to apologize - especially to western Europeans - for what is to come. Please please understand that 49.9% of Americans have been devasted by this election result. We feel helpless to protect both ourselves and the rest of the world from the tyranny and destruction of Trump's presidency.😭

You are right. For example, Trump's policies will most likely add $7-10 trillion to the debt on top of the $8 trillion he created in his first term. The possibility of a financial collapse is real. Get a safety net with some savings and prepare for the worst in 2-3 years.
