i20 has shown it's got pace and reliability.hope they repeat the same in New land . Hyundai should consider giving Dan Sordo a regular Spot budget allows. He too can give the i20 some sticks and give the good results. He is also experienced and consistent in his drives.

Sordo is good driver, but not that good who could win championships or even content to be top 3 on fight. He has few rallys what realy suit him. ANd giving him full spot would mean Solberg or Fourmax will lose it.

Sordo is driving part-time by choice. He is semi-retired like Ogier.

@@williamlasl yes it is by choice, and thats why he can choose rallys he has big change to win, but even in his peak he was never top cotender he has had long rally career, but has 3 rally wins. This shows he is reasonable driver, but never top cotender.

Tänak has never problems with other, but seems Like Neuville dont like Tänak or atlest Tänak attitute. Tänak is always demanding, demands perfection it has be so in every team i remeber when Lappi was always eyeng Tänak couse Tänak didnt keep his head down and made always big fuss if things didnt work like they should. Some people keep they heads down and expect others do the same. ANd thouse people are never champion, exeption is Loeb. But Ogier and others have always chasing perfection.
@tominatorxx
@tominatorxx 2 жыл бұрын
@@asjaosaline5987 I guess you can demand perfection within the team itself... demanding that through the press instead of communicating directly with the team seems not to be the optimal way in a team like Hyundai. I'm fairly sure Thierry is pretty demanding himself when it comes down to the performance and reliability of the car. But he keeps the critique within the team, and communicates directly, instead of through the media. Ott probably wants to use the media to put extra pressure on the team to improve. And Thierry is of the opinion that the team will put in more effort and will support you more, if you show solidarity and support them as well. It's basically like different styles of management. Neither is perfect, and both can work. As for Hyundai... I feel like Thierry's approach works better, while at Toyota it might be the other way around. And as for M-Sport... I honestly have no idea what's going on there sometimes. Also, don't forget that the Hyundai team itself grew so much thanks to the tons of input that Neuville added. Without that input they wouldn't have won the manufacturer's title in 2019 and 2020. He took a pretty big leap of faith when he signed for Hyundai in 2014 when the team started again after an 11-year hiatus.

@@tominatorxx Mayb its cultural thing to accept that someone fails constantly and lags behind and you say its okey take your time you get there. Tänak has different attitute, when promises are made, you keep them or there will be concecuences, If you fail to deliver promise you will told so and given little time to improve, if you fail then you need to use other tools to motivate. who can say what is better solution, but drivers will not be young and in form forever. if you can make car working for 2 years, there there is big things wrong and you dont need to hold back. Maybe Tänak would fit more to Ford couse Brits and Estonians have more similar work culture. Hyunday is leaded by French and they have Take easy work culture, when time is up you go home and worry tommorrow. Brits and Estonians ahave similar culture, make things work even if you need to be awake all night. And no offence to Frence culture, it might be good aproch in everyday life, but if you want to win titles and be best it will not work.
@tominatorxx
@tominatorxx 2 жыл бұрын
@@asjaosaline5987 Who said anything about accepting to fail? There's a difference between bringing out criticizing within the team and criticizing in front of the camera. If it was a culture thing then by that logic Ogier would also have that "take it easy" mentality. Which he obviously hasn't. Just because you are not complaining in front of a camera, doesn't mean you accept to fail. The logic you are following there is quite warped, if I'm honest. That better culture of Ford hasn't really been working the last couple of years, let's be honest. This is already the 4th season now that they are absolutely nowhere in terms of performance and reliability. And no, that's not due to the drivers. The cars the last couple of years just haven't been competitive at all. Loeb made that "take it easy thing" (you like to call it) work multiple times. Just like Neuville he is a guy that will absolutely criticize things that go wrong, but within the walls of the team. He doesn't complain in front of a camera, which in his eyes won't solve anything. "French mentality" is alos what won half of the manufacturer's titles since 2000 (11 titles for a French manufacturer). And on top of that, most with a French driver behind the wheel. So that's double the French mentality... Maybe Ott should go to Ford, I don't know. But I'll say this, chances of that actually increasing his chances to win another title... very slim. I think he would have a bigger chance of winning a title by using a bicycle (at least the way it is now and looking at the recent past).

@@tominatorxx how you handle situation, if you say this problem needs to be fixed and this problem needs to be fixed, and months to months it will not be fixed, couse attitute is shut up you drive car we know what we do, and still problems will not get fixed and it will cost points and posisions in championship and also reward money what go with thouse posions. So how you will approch it, just hope they finally fix and someone fix a cost to drivers in time and money. Or you put more pressure them or even make them pay. It is attitute problem, hope you best that something happens or make things happen by making it costly to not fix things. I know some prople dont agree with it. why Hyunday laged behind more than 6 months? Couse they didnt take things serously couse didnt have real pressure, but if people think Hyunday is not car they should buy then someone needs to convince them otherwise by fixing problems. Just ask, how toyota get car in better form, do they work harder, or have more skilled mechanics or Better leadership. if it is so then logical would be to see problem in months ago and change things. If worker dont do job correctly you switch him out or try to motivate him properly. I have seen management problems in other businesses, and if there is weak leadership worker lah behind, leave early and watch they smartphones on work time, salary is working why to do job if no one actually demands. Why make things correctly if you can rush and go home early.

Why he would leave? Toyota would never give him contract that includes maintance rights for They secondary team. Tänafirms has Maintance rights for Hunday R5 team and earns about twice a sum that top driver will earn by driving. Tänak is not just Driver He is also business man have like 4 firms and 3 of them are more than million in profits one has iddle balance 11 million. So Toyota should offer realy good contract for him if he wants Tänak. Most Fraivers just sit around and all they wish is drive, Tänak is paving his future. Anoth titles would be nice but not that important. Its just annoying that you do best and still you have no results.
