This is such a great video! Thank you for using me as your model, but more importantly: thank you for doing a video that makes me feel like I can do this style on my own!

I used to use flour for my hair powder and it was an absolute nightmare to wash out. Now I use white spray on hair color since it washes out of my hair a lot easier.

THANKYOU! Finally something new that isn't a ridiculously huge Pompadour! I think Loepsie is the only other one to do a non-pompadour 18th.c hairstyle (though she has done her fair share of them too tbf). Everyone else seems to forget there's more than just huge hair haha! You made this very approachable and easy to follow. Looking forward to future content!

You are most welcome! There are so many wonderful hairstyles from the 1760s-1790s, I'm definitely making it my mission to show more of the options and variations for costumers and reenactors to wear!

What a lovely hairstyle, I can't wait to try this! I've often been afraid that mid-century hairstyles all involve copious amounts of barrel curls which I don't like doing, but now I'm finally assured that some of those were actually rope braids, which I love doing!

Yep, while you definitely see barrel curls and tete du mutton style curls alot in the 1760s, there are more options!

It was really cool to see how you put this style together, especially after seeing the pics on instagram. You also made it look really approachable. You have a talent for tutorials like this.

Soooo good! I can’t WAIT for more tutorials 😃 Especially for medium length hair with bangs 😬 Not sure what to do with them but don’t want to grow them out…

BRILLIANT! I have become obsessed with the amazing rope braid crown styles on the Borgias, and after searching through so many tutorials of crown braids on little girls that did not have the look I was going for, tah dah! This is it!! Thank you so much.

Lovely tutorial! I need to try this. Do you have any tips for someone with finer hair to do this without extensions? I've got the length but my hair is way thinner then Taylor's.
@jennylafleur4 жыл бұрын
When you twist the hair fluff out, or “pancake” the twist before you pin it down. I’m doing a video on how to do this style with finer hair soon!
