The Church of Scotland does their best to sell their buildings to other churches, for example the Orthodox church or other Protestant churches, but unfortunately there simply isn't the numbers attending the Presbyterian churches to keep them open.

this guy obviously doesnt understand property law in scotland. The asking price does not reflect the property, its a mandatory bottom line , the property will go to closed bids and probably sell for many times that. Not the same way in England.

Hi Mark, well aware of the system. Churches usually go for low prices due to the limited amount of buyers who go after this type of property. The main churches seen going for high prices are city based.
