Without science my dad wouldn’t be alive today . back in the 80s he said just because he can get away with getting paid for his condition now he couldn’t back in the old days and he said he doesn’t wanna be ignorant to god and considers it a gift to still be alive for his mistakes and has to get sleep and make sure his tcell count is good . She has done that so many times though in song like Change and she has always given credit both in interviews and songs to all the black artists that paved the way for her and inspired her! On her Stripped tour in 2003 she wore a shirt that said “God sees no color” when singing Beautiful. She has also posted a lot about racial injustices in America on her Instagram. She also stood up for herself when her label wanted her to change her last name to something more “American”, but she stood up for herself and said that she was proud of being a Latina and of her Ecuadorian roots and that her dad was born in Ecuador. She was only 17 years old then. Plus in Beautiful video she is also showing a black girl tearing a magazine into pieces cause there are no one in the magazine that looks like her. She’s also showing an anorexic girl and a young boy who has body issues for not having any muscles.

I'm a fan and so disappointed with her constant involvement with lgbtqabcdef. I think it's for money too because she's not making or promoting her new songs and album. This LGBTQ is the only thing sourcing her income. I said what I said

She is def not doing it for money I think cause she did this back in 2000 and almost got canceled for it cause it was def not “cool” to do it back then like it is now. I agree with you that I think many do it today for money, but she did it before it was a “thing” and it did more harm than good for her career back then… No other artist that popular did it at the time really to that extent.. She got so much bad press about it, (even from big media outlets and other celebrities) but she stood up for her beliefs no matter what and she was only 20/21. It’s first NOW she is getting rewarded for her “efforts”…
