I've always had a soft spot for Dusty since he was the first GI Joe figure I ever had. I had thought him lost for years but then one day he turned up in the flowerbed outside.Thanks for the video!

Dusty was awesome. I started writing my name on my school papers as Dusty and telling people my name is Dusty in the first grade. I kept that all the way through high School. Then I went back to the name my parents gave me.

The "Traitor" episode helped to make Dusty a fan favorite. I'm surprised you didn't spend more time on that.
@ghostbusterguy200114 жыл бұрын
I was wondering that myself
@Biorythym3 жыл бұрын
ahn but if he did that, they would have to add the episode where he teamed up with Footloose to rescue/compete for the affections of a scientist Cobra captured

Same and he's quite good wearing mudflaps camo, You see marines in the Pacific wearing these in WW2 on Peleliu and Tinian

I really liked Dusty v3. The simplicity of it kind of spoke to me and stood out in 91's lineup of wild and colorful figures (Snow Serpent, Incinerators, Eco Warriors). He and Cobra BAT v2 were my favorite figures from 91 (BAT v2 is my favorite of all time). As a former soldier who deployed to the Middle East and whose last duty station was Ft Bliss, I can say that life in the desert isn't nearly as bad as people may think. I personally loved it. Without humidity, 100 degree heat is alot more tolerable. Please, think of the bugs. In a place like Virginia, there are lots of bugs and they are small and annoying. In the desert, there are far fewer bugs and the ones that are there are much bigger, meaning easier to avoid or kill.

I thought Cobra commander was kinda racist believing Dusty over his loyal black lieutenant and the Those twins who abandoned him. It was that black lieutenant who saved the commander from getting captured.

If he was born (and seemingly raised) in Las Vegas, why does he have that accent? He’s from southern Nevada, not the southern USA. I’m from western Nevada, I visited Elko (in the far north) once, and I’ve been to Clark County many times. As far as I can tell, the only people in Nevada who talk like Dusty are transplants, not people who have lived there their whole lives.
