Okay, so previews for G.I.Joe #301 and 302 have come out, I’ve seen the first few pages and I like what I see so far. What has me concerned though they are advertising that a Character will die. I have a feeling it’s gonna be someone who’s close to the arashikage clan, because on the cover of issue 302, stalker, storm shadow, snake-eyes, and Sean are carrying the body. I wonder if it’s going to be wade collins who dies since he is close to all four of those characters. If it’s wade, I hope he at least gets a good send off like dr.burkhart and kwinn did. I just hope they don’t kill off a female Joe, because resurrecting a fan favorite male character (in this case snake-eyes) and getting rid of a female character is just catering to the lowest common denominator, and I hope image doesn’t force Larry to do that! I’ve seen sexist assholes online berate Larry for having strong female characters in his stories, I hope image is not so desperate they wanna cater to them! So Image, please don’t pull a devils due!!

I love how his name is a play on the super cool French literary antihero Fantômas, all the while his mask and costume is heavily influenced by the old school Italian comic villain you can help but root for, Diabolik. With all that being said, Fantomex is one of Marvel’s coolest newer characters to come out in a long time.
