The Thinking World really needs to come to know the Shat Sandarbhas of Srila Jiva Goswami. It is a very great contribution that Shri Rajiv Malhotra and Shri Satyanarayan Das are promoting these great six theses. Thank you, thank you, thank you to both of these scholars for doing this great work - furthering the mission and purpose of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Wonderful dialogue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you sincerely devoted scholars (Shri Satyanarayana ji and Shri Rajiv ji, who are both, in your own dedicated ways, serving the Absolute Truth as best as you can with total lifelong dedication through your respective academic organisations. Bravo to all your accomplishments! You are both great sources of inspiration to many, and your fantastic academic contributions will live on in universities' libraries for many, many generations to come, uprooting the Videshi falsities that have hijacked our sacred shastras and dharma for vested interests of British control of India, promoting untruth through the political manipulations of Macaulay, Mueller etc al and their shamelessly false Indology entrenched cunningly in the University system they left in India. Thank you. May God bless you both with long, long lives and with much vigour and resources for revival of true Swadeshi understanding of the Truths that Vyasadeva intended to give mankind, for the eternal benefit of all. The world is desperately in need of the non sectarian, profoundly deep and noble verdict wisdom and traditions, to save us from the destruction of terrorism and other forms of hatred promoted in the name of God and Religion, with scant idea of how one may actually approach the universal Absolute Truth. ~ I just wished to share this tiny but useful piece of information with persons new to or curious about the teachings of Srila Jiva Goswamipad. Many good souls who watch this fabulous video may be hearing about the Acintya Bheda-Abheda doctrine of Sri Caitanya as elaborated by Srila Rupa Goswamipad for the very first time. And of course the Sat Sandarbhas are vast and deeply profound - so these books may not at once help a layperson enter the basic concepts and mood of the tradition. Therefore, I humbly wish to inform all sincere seekers who may wish for an introductory glimpse into this sublime philosophy that their does exist a masterful book ***in the form of a novel***, originally in Bengali but now available in English (in print, in ebook format and I believe even in free mp3 audio book format) which serves as a **brilliant introduction** to these vast topics in a palatable, easy-to-read manner. This book is entitled JAIVA DHARMA, authored by Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur. It is very enjoyable reading and it brings across the message very, very well through its story of two Calcutta young men who search for the truth. Please search for this introductory book to read or to hear, and thus easily appreciate these teachings, and be greatly benefitted by the boundless blessings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His beloved grand-disciple, Srila Jiva Goswamipad. Hare Krsna! Radhe Shyam! Your humble servant's servant, Dasanudasanudasa, dina

Jaiva dharma has some concepts which are not there in Jiva Goswami's or Baladeva Vidyabhushana's works and which no classical purvacharyas of Gaudiya parampara accept. It's better to stick to the original works. I'd suggest Prameya Ratnavali and Vedanta Shyamantaka for prima facie study and getting the basic concepts

Interesting discussion. Such a crystal clear narration of the absolute truth by Dr Dasa. This is the beauty of Indian philosophical tradition to debate and discuss the most important topic. Thanks to Mr Rajeev ji for making it available.

I am just in awe with this gentleman called Rajiv Malhotra who owns the Infinity Foundation. He gave up his thriving career and his large business for a beautiful cause i.e to tell the correct Indian Narrative and challenge western authors, academia like Harvard, Oxford and so on who somehow think they have right to abuse Indian culture of which they stole vast knowledge.. Every book and video of his is an eye opener for me and I believe it will be for every Indian who wants to know their roots. I loved the flow of knowledge from Guri Satyanarayana Dasa. So much to learn. He is empowering average Indian with the Grand India Narrative which we all know was distorted deliberately by colonial rulers Nehru, leftist authors like Romila Thappar , westerners and more importantly by their implanted sepoys (post colonial Jaychands) who still exist in the system who humilate our culutre. The govt still has a herculean task to correct the history books which treats our freedom fighters like Veer Sawarkar, Bhagat Singh and many more as terrorist. Each Hindus should do more research on our ancient scriptures to be enlightened and be able to stand firm and not be apologetic to western world or for that matter any one who challenges you on your relegion (Dharma) #LearnSanskrit #BelieveInYourHeritage #ReintroduceHinduismToHindu All books of his is a must read. He has 5,798,990 followers on his Facebook. I am sure you will be the next one...

Demorgan's Law of Dual Principle . (A.B)'= A' + B' or (A + B)'= A'.B' . They are the one and same in boolean logic. I could relate this with the nature of dualism
@indianmilitary7 жыл бұрын
Math logic is very limited or irrelevant when it comes to measuring the observer/shiva/Purusha. For eg, when colorless photons enter our small, 4 mm sized pupil of our eyes, we see a colorful, big three dimensional world. But according to math logic, we are supposed to see just a 4 mm sized and colorless world. If we ask a doctor or mathematician or even some quantum physicists, he or she would point to their eyes, lens, retina, brain, chemicals BLAH BLAH. Science always tried to hide behind math but the above example is ample proof that it cannot explain or validate the mechanism of vision or hearing or speech (we take for granted) other than give some vague explanations regurgitated by doctors, neuro-scientists and mathematicians

i can not understand why Indians who form 1 billion do not see this video only few of them had viewed ..why because we are blind intellectually and we think that our way of life will take care of itself and we do not need to worry about it so lazy
@GitaJayantiInternational7 жыл бұрын
chanakyagan I think it is not a question of intellect, but one of being Spiritually dead or asleep for want of having contacted realized Gurus who practice and teach according to shastra. It appears most Hindus are either spiritually dead (have no clue of what practices constitute sin and what do not) , or they follow some Guru who takes them further away from God, Shastra and Truth by promoting himself as a personality cult organisation. I think that is the real problem. That is why personally I feel very indebted to great personalities like Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his followers like Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja and Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami Sripad Maharaja (my revered Gurudev), who published so many books based on authentic shastra and commentaries and were themselves living examples of what they taught. They took so much trouble to travel around the world repeatedly to patiently awaken the spiritual lives of many fortunate individuals one by one. Their personal life stories and the **life stories** of their amazing predecessor Acarya, who trace their lineage directly back to Srila Jiva Goswamipad, can inspire any clueless 'Hindu' like myself, to begin to awaken that spirit of inquiry and start reading, then seeking out more advanced spiritualists to associate with and learn from.. That is the first aphorism of Vedanta - 'athaato brahma jijnaasa' - to become deeply inquisitive to know what is brahman, what is God, who and what am 'I'. So I would humbly encourage any sincere seeker of truth to read their biographies to find inspiration from these modern great saints who authentically preserved and represented the teachings of Jiva Goswamipad, Lord Caitanya and Vyasadeva as Living Dhama to the world. We have too many 'form-filling' Hindus, who are only Hindu when it comes to filling up some forms, but have no other clue about what to practice, whom to follow or how to worship etc. Only with genuine sanga can such awakening and transformation begin for any individual. Lord Paramatma within the heart then begins to guide that sincere seeker on his personal spiritual journey.
Rajivji please comment on the Prasthantrayi of Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdasji of BAPS Swaminarayan. As he has written Prasthantrayi recently, it proves your point of a Sanskrit living tradition.

The very point that 'the notion that "Krishna is the most effective means to attain the ultimate goal of life," is simply cultic fundamentalism' is itself sounding cultic. Fundamentalism is another abused word. Fundamental means to follow the fundamentals of something. What's so wrong with that necessarily unless the context is properly posited and its position discredited? The Acharyas of all traditions have insisted that their darshan's means is the most effective. Shankara did it, Ramanuja did it, Madhva did it, Jiva Goswami did it and so did everyone else. In the university, when a person posits his thesis, he will say why it's the most accurate compared to the views of others. That is the very way siddhanta is established, by taking a point, addressing doubts and counter views and then showing why the established point is the best. What is so cultic about this? It's the right of individuality to have the choice to insist that one's view is the best. To insist that this should not be done and that everything should be said to be equally valid, is itself fanatical. Cultic or fanatical means to not give others their space to decide and to go around cutting the throat of others who don't agree with you. Forced insistence on one's idea of what constitutes liberalism is also fanaticism, otherwise.

@Jai Simman Rangasamy I believe this comment is in reply to the comment by 'classyogi' below. It might be better to place it there as a reply to that thread, otherwise I humbly submit that standing on its own it is hard for a reader to understand your post. Kindly consider that, or at least quoting or mentioning 'classyogi' 's to give a context to your comment, then the reader who is interested can look for it, to better appreciate your comment. Appreciate the talk. was great to learn about a new tradition, but advaita is no doubt being a bit misrepresented here during the comparisons. For one, Shankaracharya never stated the world is an illusion as suggested here.
@shrirambhandari14637 жыл бұрын
Unnati Parikh Actually Unnati ji Jiva Goswami has no understanding of Advaita. But they are explaining what their philosophy is about.
@nilalohita50207 жыл бұрын
Shriram Bhandari How can you say Jiva Goswami has no understanding of Advaita. He has refuted Advaita just like several other non Advaitic vedantic schools have. Anyway in the ultimate sense the world is a mayik superimposition/illusion on the Attributeless Brahman according to Shankara's Advaita. So, how can you say that they dont view the world as illusion (in the ultimate/paramarthika sense)

'jagan mithya' was clearly written by Sripad Shankaracarya. Srila Jiva Goswamipad is probably the most prolific Sanskrit scholar who ever lived, and was a great genius and a deeply realised soul. Please sketch your time to really know his teachings by following the traditional path - tad viddhi pranipaatena (Bg 4:34), and weau thus be blessed to enter the spirit of his profound sandbar has and avoid premature or immature criticisms of his deep and well-documented teachings.
