@@Goss.outdoors half my plastic bearings got completely crushed so my spine is currently out of alignment. Hoping this will fix? As of now, I'm dealing with a horrible squeak because the spine is rubbing up against the top portion of the drive when rotated, ugh!

Just finished installing the mod 1 kit. What an amazing product. This is how they should be manufactured in the first place. My MD180 was squeaking for some time and gave this a try. I found a couple of the original bearings were broken with some of the bits just floating around among the bearings. 👍

Awesome! I am happy it solved your squeaks and keeps you out on the water!

I am interested in the mod 1 with ceramic bearing, but I live in Canada and apparently do not ship here. I am planning a trip to Nashville in November and I can have it shipped there. Any idea how long shipping takes? I want to place my order well in advance so that the package arrives at our resort while we are there.

Ernest, Just saw this message and I sorry it took so long to get back to you. I just toggled on Canada on Etsy. When I clicked North America, I assumed it chose anything within that region. I typically ship same day and depending on your shipping preference, that is how long it will take to get there.

I have a 180 V2 mirage drive and have developed a terrible squeaking down in the front bearing for the fin. I think it may be a similar issue. I didn't think that area was serviceable and was told as much by my Hobie dealer. Do you have any links to good tutorials on servicing that area?
@Goss.outdoors11 ай бұрын
Do you mean in the front of the drive? There are 4 sets of bearing in the bottom of the spine. 3 of the sets are similar sizes. The very front is a smaller size. There are a couple of videos on youtube explaining how to disassemble it. I will be making that video in the future. If you want to reach out to me via email or through one of my socials, we can talk further. goss.outdoors1@gmail.com

@@Goss.outdoors You're the man. I've since watched the rest of your videos and confirmed I have the issue. My front fin hub is rubbing on the bottom of the spline. Will be ordering mod 1 soon. Thanks, you've saved me having to buy another spline!

@@bhaubert We are talking about the rear cup, Correct? I just want to make sure you are not ordering something you might have to purchase a spine for. Are you still under warranty? If so, I would reach out to your dealer and then when you receive the replacement spine, you can order the MOD 2

Do I need to buy two of that $55 set for each sprockets? Let me know so I can buy it
@Goss.outdoors11 ай бұрын
This is just to fix the last /rear sprocket. This doesn't work in the other locations of the drive. I am currently looking into other locations but do not have a definite time line on those new projects.
