Is it me or is lanes hands huge lol I think it’s just the camera angle but at the start, they look freakly huge. He’s gonna be such a great player, stoked to have him play for the habs

Hutson grew an inch, gained 4 pounds. He’s 5’9’’ 154 pounds. I do wish him the best and i can see the kid has tons of offensive skill but… imagine if he faces 225 pounds guys, in the playoffs where rules are thrown out the window, he WILL get run over. Even if he gains 20 pounds in the next few years, i actually fear for the kid’s safety. Look at the shoulders on that kid and imagine a Tom Wilson type of neanderthal coming for him… scary stuff

Spurgeon did pretty well all these years, I think you're being extremely anxious over his physical. The way he plays his game, it will never be an issue for him. He's a better skater than Caufield is. 5.9 is not an issue for this kind of defenders.

Have you seen him play? Best offensive defensemen for montréal since Subban, his mobility, hand eye coordination are elite minimum. When people compare him to makar it's not too far from the truth. He's not gonna be a typical D, but he's gonna be awesome offensively and on the powerplay.
