R.I.P. Mr. Russell. I was saddened to hear of your passing. I bought my first Morseth knife from you in 1977, and remember you personally assisting me because of the way I wanted it customized. This was back when you were in your old shop on Hwy. 71. Since then, I have bought numerous knives from you, because you always treated me right and gave me good advice whenever I called you What meant the most to me, however, was your support to me when I was in Kuwait in 1991 fighting the first Iraq War, what we called Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I was carrying one of the stag-handled Bowie's that you had made for me, and it was stolen from me. Fortunately, I had a picture of my knife, sent that picture to you, and you had one of your knife makers manufacture as near of a replica as you possibly could, and you shipped it to me. You had always told me that if you treat a man with respect, you will get back more respect in return. Your personal attention to me in getting my knife replaced meant more to a young Marine than I could ever convey with words alone. May God Bless you A.G. You we're one of a kind, and you will truly be missed.

I just found out about A.G. Russell knives today. I was browsing their website and while reading things about the company you could feel the pride the company takes in their product. I read their "about" page which gave a history on how A.G. made the company, checked out his Wikipedia page, and here I am to pay my respects. Oh, and I am definitely going to by a knife today!! My condolences to his family.

I grew up in the 90’s getting the A.G. Russell knife catalog. I loved it so much, so many beautiful memories looking at it and dreaming about all the knives I would get when I was older. I always loved how good the knife photography was in the catalog.

I've got a AG Russell knife in my pocket right now. I made the trip to Rogers AR. AG was working the counter. He made it a point to wait on me personally.

It is hard to imagine who it is that give AG a thumbs down. Oh wait I know, a trashy sub human!

They sell you a lifetime warranty knife or tool and when it breaks they don't stand behind the products they sell very disgusted with such business practices and will never buy from them again.

I’m sorry to hear of his passing but the copy and music of this video is over the top and ego centric. I can see why some wouldn’t like it. Why not just tell us who he was? His life story is sufficient to grab your audience without the emotional manipulation.
