Ace combat 3 was very underrated because non japanese was striped down of all of its story and cutscenes leaving it basically as an empty arcade shooter. It had great futuristic feel with good characters and multiple endings. Just watch japanese AC3 intro and you will see what rest of the world missed.

Non that im aware of but highly doubt it because they would have to somehow splice subs in too animated sequences and there's allot of them. Especially video calls you get from other characters between missions and there's plenty of them too. Then again i never actually bothered to look for them so who knows.

AC6 had the best "feel" by far, you play it right now and it doesn't feel like it has aged one bit, and the craft flies smooth and nice to control. What AC4/5/0 need is a remastered version to be on par really. And come on, the into scene and soundtrack to AC6 is probably the most epic of any game ever, dont deny it lol.

Finally somebody like me. So my oppinions on the the games I played. AC5: should be renamed Air to Ground Combat. Love the game love playing it. My favorite out of all of the ones I played but more then half the game is facing against ground targets, and can just ignore Air Targets, AC0: Really fun makes you feel like a Ace pilot, but laccked a bit of depth. Still great but could ahve been better if the Gun targeting worked better, it was off by a big margin, AC6: Air to Ground Combat 2.0, now with extra Smoke. Literally need 3 Objective to win, A, B and C are protecting ground forces from grownd enemies, D is ussually the Protect AWAC Mission which is the hardest to complete and can easily make you fail A, B and C. Multirole planes ruled the sky while Fighters were only useful in Online. And the Smoke oh the smoke, I lost count on how many times I hit mountains, buildings or walls just cause the missiles blinding my vision of what is infront of me. At least they fixed the gun targeting. ACAH: Porbably the worst I played of the AC Games I played. Though still fun and love how detailed the Jets were. But god the DFM thing was a mess of work, and overused.

And to think that tomorrow Ace Combat 7 releases. I missed out in such a great series of games, I jumped in post AH/Mid Infinity and when I got those two games, I was instantly hooked. The flight mechanics were so amazing, the combat was really easy to grasp, and the stories, oh the stories! And the music!! The music is just so grand and amazing! Every single piece of music fits within the combat scenario, whether its a naval attack in the F-117, A-10 or Su-35, to an all-out dogfight between the aces high above a city skyline, the music always fits!

I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I actually greatly enjoyed playing Assault Horizon. I also feel that it gets a lot of hate for just being different. However I had a lot of fun on older titles such as 4, 5, and Zero, but I was severely disappointed the one time I played 6 (note I am a PS3 owner, but that isn't the only reason why I dislike 6). 6 to me lacked fun, and was too complicated to even be enjoyable. I have played Assault Horizon on all difficulties, and thoroughly enjoyed each one. I also know that a lot of people thought that AH lacked realism with certain things, but in all honesty Ace Combat is a dogfight simulator, and an actual dogfight wouldn't keep the action so far away from the pilots. They'd be a bit more like AH. Also for those of you who still think that helicopters can't perform the Aileron Roll (yes that's the real name of the roll that is referred to as a Barrel Roll incorrectly) look it up on here, and you will find at least one video of an Apache performing it. So yes a helicopter can do that, it's just not recommended for obvious reasons. Also I for one liked seeing the damage on other aircraft, but it would have been better if the damage seen on other aircraft was permanent. Bottom line in my opinion AH was a blast, and I really don't get why people don't like it when game devs try something new. Also the idea about using flares was a nice touch, but my only complaint about them in AH was it was too easy to accidentally use them all up.....

Every game from 4 onwards has something unique that the others didn't have. 4 definitely had the best boss fights and I think that still holds true, although I believe 5 still has the best story (which makes it my personal favorite). Zero had the best cutscenes whose graphics blow even modern games out of the water. 6 had the best dogfight graphics. Assault Horizon, as sucky as the game was, had amazing city graphics and realism of terrain. Only "main" game I haven't played is Infinity, never knew it ever came out and that makes me sad.

Ace Combat 4 - I flew every corner of every map on that game,used to get so into it I would just fly free flight...see how high I could go how fast with every plane. It is the reason I love jet flight as much as I do. Now I'm learning games like Falcon BMS and DCS
