What ? How much work has been put into the lore ? What madman put this all in an animated map ? This began as a TV show for little girls, but there we have an animated map showing 10 000 years of border change on 3 continents based on the lore of a mod of a WWII game, mod who has more lore than most history books and it can be argued that this is the best HOI4 mod, with fantastic gameplay... How did we get there? How many madmen were needed for this to happened ? I love this community full of madmen. Good job.

Amazing and well-detailed video and glad for your effort and conviction ! This visual and concise history of EAW sure is better than having to skim through thousands of lines on the wiki or the in-game lore bits ! Hopefully this video, despite some points you could further improve on, will become a staple for the community. Great music choice too, especially for the Mastering the Art track. It very much fits into the theme of a slow and relaxing content. Also maybe because I love it, but that's another issue. I'd like to leave you a review of some of these points, and especially share you those I find interesting and not aborded by other commentors to avoid being repetitive : - You have a rather significant part of the key/legend box still left empty throughout the video, and it would have been interesting to add an "Important dates and events" box on the bottom half where you could've accompanied the main lore bits as seen on the video with detail : For example, adding at the corresponding moment : "Sombra takes over the Crystal Empire", "Luna is banished to the Moon", "Coltlumbus discovers Griffonia and founds New Mareland" or "Jam Wutt invents the steam engine", and adding eras : "Industrial Period". In any case, the "Timeline" section of the wiki is useful. - A scale would've been good use. I know the issue of estimating distances in fictional worlds, but you could go off the assumption of the length of a pony, compare it with a train and then transporting the distances as it canonically takes one overnight voyage between Ponyville and Canterlot. Using that distance (which doing a search on my end gives me anywhere from 50 miles and 40 kilometres to much further distances), you could transpose it across the map to atleast give an idea of scale, even though it would never be perfect. - This one is taking what another commentor said, but you starting the timeline in 10 000 BLB should've made you able to integrate pre-Alicorn Sister history, with most notable Grogar, Tirek, Discord and King Sombra. Otherwise I don't have much and can only give you elogious comments for doing something neither I nor anyone else could. Looking forward to further videos and maybe a suscription if I'm convinced !

Good work, and pretty detailed. Only have a few tiny nitpicks: - shouldnt Abyssinia be brown for a while because it was a tributary under saddle arabia according to the timeline - Shouldnt it be Storm Kingdom and not Empire? - Shouldnt Vermillion Dynasty be called Realm of Kiria? - You couldve shown for example polar bear clans and changeling hives on the map as small countries, but i guess its fine - I dont think Kiria ruled over so many countries in the west? - Never heard of ”greater principality of the eastern ponies” before

Thank you for your comment and feedback! I agree that making the changeling hives and polar clans would make it more interesting and it should be storm kingdom, not storm empire. With the Abyssinia, I decided to keep its color because they weren't exactly under saddle arabian control, they only gave them stuff. With the Kiria, I decided to name it as Vermilion Dynasty because i thought it would be more interesting and better as a whole "hegemony" in southeastern zebrica, though i should have name it Realm of Kiria after they had Silence, and with the territories, yea i might overextended, I have only seen on the wiki that they were a major power in the region so I decided I should give them the neighbouring land. I read the Wittenland lore and they were talking there about the greater principality of eastern ponies so I named it because of that, and then changed it to River Empire after Nimbusia left. Anyways, sorry for my english I'm still learning and maybe me yapping too much.
