Watching to watch, but just wanted to say you're a big reason why I've been on a Kamen Rider kick lately. The English Power Ranger channel here on KZbin is basically dried up since it's mostly caught up, and another content creator whom enjoys the Kamen Rider series made me curious. THEN I saw an influx of YOUR Kamen Rider videos and... That's that, just made me want to actually watch the show itself. I started with Ryuki, since that had the English adaptation in Dragon Knight, and that was a ride. And NOW, Ex-Aid is the second season I've watched... Episode 44 actually made me tear up and cry a little. I'm so glad I've been led to this series on the whole! Thank you!

(Minor OUTSIDERS spoilers) Ex-aid was my first introduction to kamen rider. And let me tell you dan kuroto was my favorite. From the design of dangerous zombie. And the fact that he's so batshit insane and just switches on a dime is what I loved about him. He's serious. But it's a funny serious. He knows his talents. Regarding the Brave and Snipe movie, the reason they clashed wasn't because they wanted the same thing, but because of what it meant to both of them individually. Hiro had accepted that Saki was gone, yet she was dangled in front of him again AND she was seemingly as lucid as a normal human. As far as he was concerned, he might have had a chance to have just a little more time with her before having to let go of what he had recognized was just a sweet dream. As far as Taiga goes though, he felt like Saki's return because of Lovelica was, in his mind, that he hadn't properly completed his duty as a doctor, so felt a necessity to deal with the issue immediately because his mentality had effectively reverted to before he'd accepted his mistakes. It's a bit of a reversion of their character arcs, which WAS lazy writing imo a bit since they had to dig up old issues from both characters since their arcs were already complete in order to justify this whole part of the trilogy, but the feelings both characters have are drawn from the past because a significant part of the past was placed in front of them. The part that had been dealt with and removed, thus allowing them to move on in the first place. From a narrative perspective I can't say it's well written, but if nothing else it IS a very human reaction to Saki coming back. Also should be noted, because it's a common misunderstanding, is that Kuroto didn't hit Masamune with the real moon, but just a figment that existed within the game area. You'll noticed from the very start of the series that when they transform, the game banners start to generate a game area in the surrounding area. This can range from just generating objects, to using Stage Select to entirely change the area (which is effectively just AR). The game area generated by God Maximum Mighty X was likely one that also generated a moon within it, allowing for it, as a game object, to be used as a weapon. It's also how Mighty Novel X can do so many of the crazy things it can, due to it all being freely generated within a game area.

I really hope that Shout Factory gets around to releasing Ex-Aid on Blu-ray, because it's one of my favourite TV shows of all time. I 100% would import it as I'm in Australia. Although I wish we got official Australian releases for the Rider Blu-rays.
