So the names getting dumber was intentional. Evolt mentions that Soichi was aware that Evolt was probing his memories and started intentionally giving him dumb answers so that Evolt wouldn't learn about more deadly weapons, hiding it just enough so that Evolt wouldn't realize Soichi was dicking with him. Evolt mentions that he would only realize this after seeing what some of the items were, but it didn't really hamper his plans (since he was after the essence of the earth) and he thought it was amusing that Soichi tried to trick him.

The Hokuto Three Crows are some of the best antagonists I've seen in any media, cuz you know why they did what they did, and especially how the stupid stuff they do are because they put their heart into it. Which makes their deaths actually mean something for the viewer when it comes. And they don't all go at once either, by the time it's the last one you're begging them to spare just one of them. Also Utsumi's transformation is awesome because it is the lowest point for all the characters, yet the most hopeful song is playing. Almost like it's mocking the characters. I absolutely love the intro song btw, it's perfect that one of the bleakest kamen riders has the most uplifting and hopeful songs.

So a Kamen Rider game with mostly secondary or thirdtary riders only. Kinda reminds me of the Outers series, where main riders aren't MC, but the antagonist Riders are. Maybe thats the new game idea for ya. Kamen Rider Climax Outer Wars. The villian Kamen Riders or Dark Riders will be the roster, with maybe All MC Rider from main series. Maybe a fighting game or another Musho or dynasty beat em up. Story will be almost like Outer Series but with a new villian and all good /bad riders have to team up to win the fight. Spoilers The villians are rider(s) who can summon riders or have the ability to.

Part 5: I just love the characters man. And Diavolo. I just loved it. Just everything about it. Part 3: I loved the characters too, and though it did drag on at one point, the fight with Dio was really intense and a good ending. Part 2: Joseph is great. What else can I say? Part 6: Jolyne is my fave. Wish Jotaro was in there a little more, and some of the characters I didn't care for, but oh well. I didn't understand Pucci's plan or desires, so that also made it... less well written. Part 4: Just not my cup of tea. Not a big fan of the slice of life, and Kira did not interest me. Part 1: I did enjoy it a lot, but it just can't compare to the others. Special mention though, Erina and Jonathon's relationship was so cute. Loved that. I hope to watch SBR soon, but I can't access the manga sadly. Hopefully one day I can return and rank it.

Wizard isn't one of my favorite Kamen Riders (which my top is Build followed closely by W and OOO) but it's definitely still good. The problem for most people I feel is that the show basically has two halves; the first half where they deal with monster of the week and the second half, where it's basically one long movie (or a netflix series). And unlike most examples, you could almost start someone in the second half and completely disregard the first (which isn't helped by some character intros being very basic, so you don't even need that context either). The thing is I like both halves for different reasons. The First half has a lot of tight character dramas that have a running theme of "accepting tragedy and moving on", which is where Haruto's Hopebringer comes. This is most evident in the episode with the con-artist, but also the one with the baker. Then there's the secondary theme of "finding what truly matters to you" because a lot of the Phantoms don't know what the Gates's true despair is, and sometimes even the Gates don't know either (see the episode with the film girl). The main problem here is that because these are character dramas focused on one-off characters, Haruto and Co often feel like they're just observers or contrived to be there for the sake of the show. W did this better through the focus of being a detective story, where Shotaro's investigation is interwoven into the narrative. Here, while there is investigation, most of the time it's just Haruto running about trying to keep the Phantom from being a dick to the Gate. Which is also probably where the complaint that he is a flat character comes from as for a good half (to almost a third) of the series isn't really focused on him or his journey and his involvement in all of the episodes were more or less just to punch the bad guy. Notably the good episodes from this lot often has him or someone else from the main cast teach the gate about moving on or discover something new about themselves. The second half is where the series really takes off, but the problem then comes that you had to have sit through some 30+ episodes of random shenanigans with tangential relation to this first, and that is a very hard sell for people. Even more so if you had to watch this show weekly.

Honestly, Donbro is a better story than Kingohger. The fun and ugliness of humans is well depicted.
