These videos just popped up in my feed. I imagine doing all the research on these old companies was a lot of work. This is done really well.

Two Thumbs UP! Thank you so very much for posting this video and Part 2. I learned a bunch and am grateful for your research. The 1927 Fageol 10-66 was used to transport all the steel needed to construct the Navajo Bridge. Bridge steel was driven 140 miles from Flagstaff, Arizona, to the jobsite day and night for months. These were amazing trucks and your work is important as the Fageol legacy is mostly unknown today.

I will be restoring a 1930's Fegeol truck in the near future. It has the 6cyl. Waukesha. Nice video by the way :)

My father drove some of those early Freightliners, pre-WWII. I remember him commenting that, if you pushed in the clutch while in a hard right turn, the front wheel would tear off the clutch pedal mechanism.

Still doesn't have the same "I'm interested in what I'm saying" cadence of Maddie, but this is a more than watchable video, and a FREAKING VAST improvement to the Mercedes Benz video.

Va nay dium. There are so many mispronunciations it was hard to listen to the whole thing!
@stewartthompson50393 жыл бұрын
Great info, but the commentary is so fast it becomes annoying, unlike the video's narrated by Maddie, (from other letters - Reese Holder cheers), where you can actually listen carefully to what is being said,. I think I probably missed a good third of the info being imparted here - Take a breath young man!
