These older model Peterbilts are always my top favorites from various designs and sleeper sizes, I don't much care for the newer ones.

My papaw Bob served in the Korean war, he drove a couple different ammunition trucks that supplied explosives/ammunition. Knew him all the way up till I was 10. Seeing these videos really sends chills down my spine imagining what all he saw.

Jack’s Chrome Shop ! These transportation mini-docs are phenomenal ! I have watched them all twice , some four times . I humbly and with great enthusiasm request a series on the prime movers of the Soviet Union . (Kamaz , GAZ etc., both movers and the dual use multi wheeled missile hauler launchers . Then followed up with Soviet era tractor trailers . These are in my top Three truck mini - docs on youtube , they are that good !

I use to see these trucks coming out of Oak Ridge Tn., being escorted by blacked out Suburbans. I'll ass-ume they where carrying nuclear associated materials.

Kenworth and peterbilts with paccar trash equipment is trash and have trashed both Kenworth and peterbilts on top the damn government sticking its Nose in what they don't understand or know or have any experience in they have ruined trucks alongside with all those others in office by allowing foreigners illegally into the trucking industry its a nightmare hopefully Trump changes all of that and just Americans born citizens can just be trucking also not allowing south of the border truckers from coming in driving in us roads as well drivers coming in from south of the border to drive for harvesting season they do it all over the usa but the fmcsa doesn't see that its complete BS it should be mandatory that every cdl holder should be a usa citizen and speak and read write English hope Trump changes everything to what it used to be!!!!!

I’ve driven many of these . At 85 years I go back 67 years with big trucks. Today I drive a KW most days. I’m home nights.

I worked at Freightliner when the Century Class aka Century Smash. Anyway ya everyone at the dealership came out to look at it when we got our first one. I mean everyone parts guys of course sales guys and all us mechanics. It was almost the same when we got a Classic XL. I remember it like it was yesterday it was green. I'm not big on green but let me tell you it was like nothing else you have ever seen. All the extras were insane. The seats were like the best couch you have ever sat on. They were the same as the ones that came in the Silver Areo's. Sure don't see many of them anymore. They had what was called a basement so you could stand up. This was before all the raised roof intregal trucks. Anyway cool little series you got here 👍🇨🇦🔧
