The Somnath Temple was so loaded with gold and jewels that Mohammad Ghaznavi (a Mughal ruler) looted it 17 times coz he couldn't get all of that gold at once (and still it holds a large amount of treasure) Britishers came to our temples and forts (we had gilded walls back before the brits came) , they scraped all that gold and smelted it and took it to their "GrEaT" britain
