@@rocketqueen9887 im a lil late, but the tldr is the original artist made the cover with just Eddie as the Reaper and a few monks in the background; some studio exec said it was too empty, and the "filling in" was outsourced before being cleaned up by the og artist. At least from what I've read; the original cover looks awesome in comparison.

Book of Souls and Senjutsu are both albums that I kinda forget about listening to front to back. There are songs I'll go visit, but I almost have to make myself sit through them in their entirety. That being said, I do enjoy them on the rare occasion that I do!

Well done! As for my favorite era, I've been a fan since 1984 and I can honestly say I listen to 21st cenutry Maiden more than 20th century Maiden. That's not to deprecate the "glory years," but as I like to think I'm continuing to grow with the band.

They always had a "Its a theme" type vibe to their tunes. Just think of a scene in any sort of action film animation. Hell, even a compilation scene of the protagonist running to stop his love from getting on the plane before saying he love her!

Hot take: Killers is their best album. Don't get me wrong, Somewhere is great, I also really love Fear of the Dark, but Killers just had an energy that was unrivaled. And while Dickinson is the better vocalist, people don't give Di'Anno nearly enough credit. There's some songs that just don't sound right with Dickinson, like I can't help but feel his voice is mismatched with songs like Wrathchild and Purgatory.
