All they have to do is put forth some added effort. The benefits has been amazing for us. We do these Videos for Our Customers but understand others enjoy them too. The investment in time sure provides a lot of benefits. But you have to do your research and learn, too before turning on the camera.

I own Massey 1652 best investment I ever made. The power shuttle transmission is great. Bought it new in 2011 all I have done to it is change fluids when they are do and I put a battery in it this year 10 years on a battery isn't bad. Great tractor!

Those 1600 are legendary tractors. That series was the first Premium series models we sold after taking on Massey Ferguson Brand. We don't hear much from the owners they keep on using and enjoying their tractors and we sell a few maintenance parts but that about all.

Had a iseki 1710 years ago and was a great little tractor. When i started looking for a newer larger tractor and found out that MF is made by iseki, I knew that was the brand i wanted. Now have a 1552 with a cab and i am impressed.

Thanks for the comments and ISEKI has one of the Best Reputations for Reliability in Compact Tractors. With our experience as a White Farm Equipment Dealer in the Early 1980's many of those ISEKI Built White Tractors are still in use today, 40+ years later.

Great video and a valuable history lesson! Thank you sir for taking the time to put this together for us. If you're looking for video ideas, I think one covering the ballasting and ballast options of subcompact and compact MF tractors would be very helpful. The majority of these machines come with loaders, and the importance of ballasting maybe doesn't get as much attention as it should. I know in my area, the dealers aren't well-informed on anything beyond liquid ballast. Try talking to them about cast iron ballast, and you'll pretty much just get blank stares.

Some great info here. I have a challenger mt225 which I believe is also a Massey 1423. It’s a hydro with a loader on it and a great machine. Stored inside and only 940 hours on it. I like it so much I just bought a new gc1723e to snowblow and mow

Did you guys get to go to the Farm Machinery Show in Louisville? You gave a good historical narrative on this! I had an Agco ST35 (similar to Massey 1433) which was a little light duty for the work I needed to get done, but the Massey 2607H I run today has been A W E S O M E.

We did not go to Louisville National Farm Machinery Show....too busy selling new Massey Ferguson Tractors. We cleaned half the lot off the last two weeks. I messed up and forgot the AGCO & Challenger Brand Compacts that are part of this legacy of Massey Ferguson Compacts. Our Customers love them 2600H Series...hard to keep instock!

I currently have a MF1225. Great tractor but i cant keep repairing a 20yr old tractor. Looking to buy a new 1526 soon. By repairs i mean seals and orings. Oh and i paid the stupid tax to rebuild my water pump first only for it to leake again less than a year later so i bought a new water pump. Also rebuilt the cylinders, replaced the loader valve twice, new hydraulic lines, new front tires, rebuild spindles on the 1232 mower deck, rebuilt gearbox etc etc. Ypu get the point

Tractors will need maintenance in their life especially when used for that many years. Sometimes it better to pass them on to someone else and invest the maintenance in upgrading to a new tractor.

Have you done such a video on the smaller ones and inc garden tractors?! There seems not tons of info on them and i think that a vid on them would be muchly appreciated! I tripped across a MF 1450 with front and rear pto's, hydro trans,2 hydro cylinder,rear 3 point,with a snow blower and a rear scraper blade and the mow deck for $300 ! So wasnt particularly a massey fan, but the price converted me! I then found a MF 85 (the lil one) runs drives and actually looks pretty nice for $200 For that i cant be bothered to take the rear scraper and snowblower and change to summer tires and and just to haul a garden trailer so its cheaper/easier to just have another machine for that work haha.

Have you considered doing a basic over view of Massey Harrison? Lastly, when and why did they stop using the Perkins diesel?
@VahrenbergImplement
@VahrenbergImplement 2 жыл бұрын
Probably won't do a Massey Harris Video. When AGCO bought Massey Ferguson from Varity Corporation, Caterpillar bought Perkins from Varity Corporation. AGCO purchased Valtra Tractors and got SISU Power Engines and since they owned their own Engine Company and SISU was more Torque, used less Fuel and light years ahead on emission standards they started using their own Engines and stopped using Cat owned Perkins.

Do any models use DOC instead of DPF? And what tractors have power shuttle available? Thanks Very good video.
@VahrenbergImplement
@VahrenbergImplement Жыл бұрын
All Current Models above 25HP use DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). Some of the previous generations do not require but Tier 4 Final Compact Tractor require Both. All M Series Models Cab & Platform offer a Power Shuttle Option.

Massey Ferguson has been a Partner with ISEKI a Japanese Corporation. The 1800M/2800M are built in ISEKI Factories in Japan. GC/1800E/2800E Series are built ISEKI manufacturing facilities in Indonesia,

@VahrenbergImplement
@VahrenbergImplement 2 жыл бұрын
Been there with the ZT Series Lawn Mowers. Emission Regulation is one of the Big reasons why they exited the Lawn Care Products. AGCO is more dedicated to being an Agriculture (Tractor) Company than getting into other industries like Lawn Care and Industrial Industries. Plus right now they can't build enough tractors to meet demand so better to focus available resources to what they do best...Tractors.
