FYI: Paper was invented by the Chinese and Black Ink was invented by the Indians. The Persians were the first to put Ink to Paper about 1,500yrs ago at crossroads of the Silk road... - The Indian made Black Ink as eyeliner which was bought in large quantities by the ancient Egyptians - The Ink was loaded (capillary action) and applied to eye using a Peacock feather So if clever enough... you could tell... Why did the Chinese invented the Paper 7,000yrs ago (not for writing) Hint: An old Chinese proverb: wind in paper, fire in paper and paper on water... (Reader's Digest - late 80s) Yes. while generally accurate, you didn't make as good use of maps as I hoped. For example, you didn't show where Sogdiana was, and you didn't show the Ottoman Empire just a few heads popping up in old map areas. I enjoyed it nonetheless
