Thanks to "Yellowstone" I'm learning some great American history that I would have missed. Greetings from Virginia.

I’ve had the please of attending the ranch rodeo held every year during the Fort Worth Stock Show. It was a lot of fun to watch the teams of ranch hands from various ranches including the 6666 compete in all sorts of rodeo events including wild cow milking. 🤠 Thanks Red for this video of the 6666 ranch. Great job.

Enjoyed the program. I am a history nut so I am a big fan of the Burnett family. There is no way to calculate the contribution to the quarterhorse. Tom Burnett his daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter had and have a talent for judging a horse. The family has given millions to charity down through the years. Tom Burnett made a reputation for being a playboy. But in the depression years never a friend or cowboy or kid went hungry or ragged after meeting Tom Burnett. He gave away stallions to friends that became foundation horses for the breed.

Really enjoyed this, 72 years old and miss the old days. The cowboys now don't know one end from another on a cow just maybe they do on a horse.

Love that folks are hearing and becoming interested in 6666 thanks to Yellowstone. My 1st horse was Joe Hancock bred and she was best mare I ever had.

My grandfather bought a Hancock stud Sparky Joe. He drove from New Mexico to McAllister Oklahoma to get him. We got lots of good horses from him.

Very Interesting but where does Yellow Stone come into the picure ?

Yellowstone needed a large ranch to film on, and 6666 Ranch needed some money, so they got together and made a baby. It wasn't enough money to save the ranch, though, so it was sold last year, which seems to have killed the _Yellowstone: 6666_ spinoff that was planned.

They just sold the 6666. We've lost a huge chunk of our history.
