King's React Gaming GameStop service sucks! I went their on my American trip and they tried force me to buy a membership I would only use while in the US! I was gonna buy Just Dance, but they kept saying “So what do you want to do? Trade in or get our membership?” I wanna buy this game. And they made me buy the membership, I cancelled immediately and never went again. GAME ( UK Game store ) is so much better!

I've been to the Apple store in the Glendale Galleria many times! I never knew that was there second store! That's so cool! I guess that would explain why it's so small compared to other apple stores (like the one across the street at the Americana)

I knew that John Browett was going to mess everything up. He was terrible at Dixons. He treated the employees like shit and was happy to cut everything to the bone. This affected the employees and that ill-will is passed on to the customers. Apple had a bad 6 months with this clown shitting all over Apple's good reputation. He is what is known as a seagull manager. Swoops in, make a load of noise, shits on everything and then disappears.

evilution I worked there when Browett was hired, EVERYONE knew Apple was fucked and to be honest, it never really recovers fully. When we found out Browett was firing our brothers/sisters in blue with the permission of Cook, we never trusted him again. Browett also froze wages during raise time. He was a real piece of shit and I hope he has full body cancer. After Browett, Eyebrows (aka Angela) would release a video every week showing how much Apple made while we got a puny 4% raise, if that, once a year. I’m glad I left that horrible company years ago. Retail employees were treated like disposable garbage and we knew it, while corporate employees we all kings.

I know! Most phone companies don’t have a repair shop for devices, so you go to a shady one on a shady street, they keep making you wait, you take the phone back and have no idea how to fix it! With Apple, take it in and take it back once it’s fixed. EPLS!

The shopping experience at apple store is seriously amazing compared to typical tech outlets, with its spacious interior and ease of trying out various items. Purchasing (if you have the money) is swift without the hassle of queuing up at the cashier . Not to mention the customer support is excellent!

great video. I was the third party production person for the web store from 2000 to 2005 at Apple. It was hard to convince developers to produce product back then to add to both the web and retail stores. The goal was to have 250 third party products ready to stock on opening day. We made it!

I’m extremely late but 6:47 is Apple’s flagship store in NYC on 5th Avenue. And 10:21 is a newly built store in Michigan Avenue in Chicago, the clip you saw was a rendering but I think the store is already built & finished.

Thank you for this, Greg. It’s also interesting to see that such a presently successful company as Apple had its own unsuccessful trials, in terms of their services, style, and evolution, even with Jobs at the top. It’s so easy to see the Apple Store & Genius Bar now as an inevitable “of course” idea, but it took a lot of time and experiment to get it right. That’s encouraging for those of us in small businesses who have to continually innovate and reevaluate. Failures can be just as valuable as successes.

I went to my local Apple Store that was finally reopened after a long closed for remodeling. It is a nice atmosphere, where you can check out the computers, I-Pads, I-Phones, Apple Watches, and they do have training areas to learn about different products and what you can do with each product.
