Apple III's cluster F of the initial design to manufacture is a glaring example of Jobs winging it. It shows that without dear Woz, hes nothing. the only reason Jobs was anything since was because of the sheer talent behind him.

It constantly updates their database with your biometrics, anyone who believes otherwise really is a true fool. China has been using this for decades now and it's integrated into their social credit system. The UK is already implementing this and the US is starting it with their "smart traffic" cameras.

I worked for Verizon Wireless in this era presented - The Blackberry Storm was so bad - we hid ours so customers would not buy them - they required about 17 mins to fully turn on and then would freeze - 100% of them were swapped out for FRU's (factory refurbish units) and then still never worked right. We lost lots of customers to Apple iPhone ATT - but the real flop was Blackberry releasing the Storm which none of them - NONE of them worked right.

Nov 2024 - I have the highest respect for both of these iconic people in the early home computer industry. I remember how much Apple began to change the printing industry: offering high resolution to smaller print shops. I have to respect Woz’s vision to let the computer hardware be expanded and enjoyed by other intelligent computer enthusiasts. I also didn’t know Woz taught computer technology to youngsters. EPIC!!

The iPhone’s standout feature was its touch interface. BlackBerry could have developed a similar device before 2007, as touch technology existed and they had the resources, but they didn’t. Instead, they focused on their cash cow, driven by shareholder priorities. Apple, however, had Steve Jobs, whose vision went beyond profits and ultimately saved the company. Today, we see Apple relying heavily on the iPhone as a cash cow, showing they’ve lost the spark of vision Steve Jobs once brought.

The Bible talks about the symbol of Satan being seen everywhere in the end times. What would be this symbol of Satan though? The forbidden fruit that resembles all sin? It’s very intriguing.

The only reason it failed is the shitty UI. The tiles sustem introduced in win 8 was hated universally and they launched a mobile OS with it. If they launch again with more user friendly UI I will switch because I am tired of the boring Android UI and ugly iPhones.

Keyboards were FAR superior. Sorry its just a fact. Touch keys suck, why do you think theres so much software for auto-predict and auto correct....to compensate for the short comings of touch screen. I wound still take Keys all day.

If someone tells you they don't mind this sort of thing because they have "nothing to hide" ask them to unlock their phone and hand it to you. Be ready with the phrase "I have nothing to hide, but I also have nothing I want to share."

Now there isn’t really any reason to jailbreak your iPhone As Apple is launching Apple Intelligence with a more customizable control center, etc. And if it’s too expensive, then you can wait for a more cheaper phone to release like the iPhone SE fourth generation that is supposed to come out in the early spring of 2025

My first smartphone was a Windows Phone 8, and I loved it! Though looking back, a lot of that was probably just the excitement of having my first smartphone. The OS was super sleek, well-organized, and felt original, but the lack of first-party apps really held it back. I remember using it for two years before switching to an HTC One M7, and in all that time, the Instagram app was still stuck in beta with no updates. That kind of sums up the whole experience.

No kidding, streaming TV shows worked SO WELL on Windows Phone. For free. It was like the best thing about it. Everything else about it sucked, but it was the cheapest phone on the market and you got to stream content for free with no buffering or lag without having to pay for subscriptions like Netflix.

Is there any way to protect the mac book though? I don’t want it to scratch. I got the amazon one but is it better to purchase from Apple? Also would the Mac damage if I just leave the lid open instead?
