Back then the progression was still around the beginning of UL so 600% Zombie looks stupidly impossible to fight. It was the first instance of PONOS inflating enemy magnification without care.

@@youtefhy that one was tough, but the magnification was still fair. The old collabs only had Star 2 difficulty with 150% magnification. So it's still manageable even with old meta. It's far different with Star 3 Crash Fever, Evangelion, and Miku who buffs everything on 300%

Even though I played all these stages post powercreep and used Ubers in quite a bit of them, it felt so epic seeing the final transition of the hardest stage in each version. It makes you think your cats have come such a long way from struggling vs a single Bun-Bun to even taking on the Villainous Gods (Heinous Road).

It's amazing how this silly cat game has so much history, and the fact that there is a lot more to come is overwhelming, yet amazing, my first experience with The Battle Cats was around the Pokopang and Betakkuma collabs, but ragequit at Nyandam due to me being like 6 or 7. I'm kind of sad that i couldn't be part of this community at its golden era, but there wasm't really much i coild do since i was a literal toddler, but I'm glad I gave this game one last chance, and could be part of this amazing community. Small mistake at 23:36 - Hacker didn't have the Long-Distance ability at the time, since it didn't exist yet. LD was added as an ability in JP 4.6/EN 3.5 with the release of Aphrodite, and it was retroactively given to Hacker in 4.7/3.6. Hacker stacking was basically the same as Bahamut stacking before base hit, but stacking ultra long range chippers instead of backline nukers.

Not quite, the video got this a little wrong. The LD ability type didn't exist until Update 3.6 when Aphrodite was released (more realistically, the following Update 5.0 when Mina, Manics, and Prisoner Cat, Adult's true form, for no uber or no gacha players). Nerd/Hacker Cat was retroactively given the LD ability afterwards - he didn't always have a blind spot. So Hacker stacking was not exactly the same as cyberstacking, he was just stacked the same as Bahamut (simply taking advantage of slow speed, attack rate, and range to get multiple on the field before triggering boss) but instead of having 2-3 nukers on the field from Bahamut stacking, you got a handful of ultra long range chip damagers. Side note: international/EN versions went straight from 3.6 to 5.0, since in the earlierst ages of the Battle Cats, JP was many version/edition releases ahead of international, likely since the global launch was after the Japan launch, BCEN 1.0 was released with the same contents of JP ~2.1. Whatever the history, it led to that JP 4.7 added the same content as EN 3.6, JP 4.6 = EN 3.5, etc. When BCEN 5.0 was released, PONOS skipped the entirety of Versions 4.x for the international release to synchronize everything.

Man, I remember being stuck on that manic macho leg stage for MONTHS when I was younger. I just couldn't get the bahamut chains to work, and I would choke everytime. Finallly beating the stage was such an awesome moment. Seeing how far this game has come also just makes me happy. I'm glad that I grew up with this game and am STILL playing it to this day.

Just watched the whole thing. This was so nostalgic for me… I played the game for more than 10 years (It says it's 10 years old but I know that's just not true) I was in elementary playing it on the bus every morning with my friends and helping them beat all the moons. Now I am getting a job as I am about to turn 18. This video brought a tear to my eye as this game was my entire childhood and I still play it to this day. I love you battle cats 🥹

I think EOC chapter 3 is the hardest at the time of its release, Highly buffed enemies who are next to impossible to stall or even kill.. New players don't know what the *treasures* are and what it does, Going to guides from Boogle, Lucas IV and other people, the new player founds that you have to *DO THE MOST BORING, TIME CONSUMING AND FRUSTRATING* thing Mankind has ever known.. Personally I took *1 month to get all of the treasures* because I didn't know "treasure festival" existed Still you can lose even with every treasure, You need to stack Dragons and Legs with at least 2 meatshields to stall Teacher Bun Bun, Till to this day... EOC chapter 3 is VERY TRAUMATIZING and rewarding level to me
