Regarding similarity with F111. Su-24 was initially was to have broken delta wing with VTOL elements. That was dropped because of poor performance and they went with sweep wing. Also USSR had MiG23 with sweep wing since `69. Also number of operational Su-34 is incorect. ~132 produced for RuAf since october not 12.

If I remember correctly some 14 test pilots and navigators died during the development of the Su-24. It sounds pretty bad, however as a result no Su-24 was lost in Afghanistan.

At the end of the video, you said that only 12 Su-34 were produced. I think the number of Su-34 in Russian Air Force at the moment is way more than 12, possibly 100 as far as I remembered.

Hi You did not mention the nearly 18 Test Pilots and Navigator that were killed during its Development in the 1960s.
